"Alright Alani, shooting a gun isn't as hard as you think it is" Luke said as he picked the beretta M-9 up.

"Keep your stance, make sure you hold on tight, have your hand and elbow aligned together, aim and shoot" Luke demonstrated and with a quick pull of the tigger, he hit the target right in between the eyes.

The sound of the gun going off cause Alani to jump, she never thought she would be sitting in a gun range, learning how to shoot a gun. She's been on this earth for 21 years and this was the first time, she's ever needed a gun. She thought owning a gun was useless, since she didn't have any enemies or anyone after her until now.

Alani watched as Luke cocked the gun and handed too her, she hesitated at first but eventually took it from him.

"Your turn" he said

Alani took a deep breath, she held the gun up, closed one eye and focused. Luke noticed that she was shaking a little, he rested his arm on her shoulder.

"It's alright, remain calm" he told her

Luca cleared his throat and caught the attention of his brother, he didn't like how close he was to Alani. Even though, he knew Luke didn't have any feelings towards Alani, he still couldn't help but feel a little jealous of how close he was to his girlfriend.

Luke rolled his eyes and shook his head, but he did step back a little from Alani.

"Shoot!" Luke shouted

Alani snapped out of her thoughts and slowly pulled the trigger, sending the bullet directly to the center of the target. After doing this, she quickly put the gun down and stepped away. Her hands were shaking from the adrenaline that she was currently feeling.

Luca got up and quickly made his way to Alani, placing his hands on her face and making her look at him.

"Are you okay? You hurt?" Luca said as he inspected her face

"I'm fine Luca" she smiled and moved his hands

"It's just the adrenaline I'm feeling, it was just a rush of excitement!" Alani squealed

Luca couldn't help but smile at her joy, he thought she would of backed out and called it off, but she showed him that she's willing to do anything to keep him safe from his father and his abuser.

"Don't get too excited, I don't want you to hurt the baby" Luca said as he placed his hand on Alani's stomach

"I'm a day pregnant Luca, there's no baby yet" Alani replied

"And besides, a little enjoyment never hurt nobody, you would know that"

Luca gave a shy smile as he remembered what him and Alani did, she didn't care that she was pregnant, she still wanted him in every way as long as she wasn't hurting his kid.

Ever since Alani got pregnant, her hormones have been all over the place. Luca could give her the littlest attention and she was ready to jump him, he didn't complain though. He loved it.

"Ew" Luke said and pretended to puke, one thing he hated was when his siblings or his mother talked about their sexual experiences in front of him.

Alani chuckled at Luke's comments, she didn't mean to gross him out.

"Sorry Luke, forgot you were there" Alani said

"He'll be fine" Luca said and planted a soft kiss on Alani's lips

"Once you guys are done sucking faces, we need to move onto self defense. Just in case you run out of bullets and Mary tries to rush you, you'll need to be able to defend yourself" Luke said
