K-Pop music videos can be really creative and artistic. While some idols create their theme from song ideas, experiments, or real-life experience, EXO's Kai takes on another level as he takes inspiration from an idol's work of art!
EXO's Kai just recently debuted his long-awaited solo 'Mmmh' after 8 years of being in the industry and he didn't disappoint fans! With the fresh visuals and the creative theme of his rather stylish music video, he delivered an artistic single that totally matches EXO's past themes – cyberpunk.
During his online press conference for his debut solo album, EXO's Kai said that the music video's visuals were all inspired by rookie idol and ITZY member Sora's past artworks!

Some of the newer fans might not know, that aside from being a former member of the national women's volleyball team and ITZY's main vocalist and visual, Sora also takes an interest in art, specifically painting, digital, and installation art!

Sora's artworks, however, are almost rare, with a few being displayed at her mother's chain of restaurants and the two publicly showcased at JYP's building in Gangnam-dong in Seoul. Some people, *however*, claimed to have bought a painting made by Sora, but other than that, it is *almost rare*.

In 2019, Sora's University held an annual art exhibit showcasing their students' masterpieces over the school year and one of those included the collection of paintings that inspired the visuals for the 'Mmmh' music video. In the exhibit, there were 4 paintings made by Sora with the main theme of sublime cyberpunk worlds. And by seeing the paintings, we see now the inspiration and resemblance of some elements to the music video!

While some fans gush about the cute Kai and Sora crumbs, others were *inspired* to ask Sora to release more of her paintings to the public!
