"Now that we have seen all the performances scheduled for today, while the judges make the ever important decision, we shall move on for a small show on what prizes exactly await the winning pair of today and also create an atmosphere about the grandeur of those prizes. Whoooo." a very attractive female voice belonging to the host, who was on the stage speaking into the microphone, boomed from the speakers.

The big screen attached to the stage which set the background during every dance by displaying ranges of different colors, reflecting the hues of the emotions portrayed by the dancers, lit up with a picture of the Eiffel Tower. A voice of a woman with a strong Southern Accent emanated from the speakers.

"Meet the committee responsible for organizing the Coeur (translation: Heart) Awards, the famous and versatile, Glorieuse Committee. Known all around the world for its role in recognizing and harnessing young talent.", the voice informed.

A logo comprising grandly decorated gold alphabets G and C placed side by side with golden lions bearing the apparent weight of the alphabets floated up on the screen.

"The Glorieuse Committee organizes competitions internationally, while being based in France, and helps in scouting young talent in especially dancing and provides them unbelievably unique and huge opportunities and believe me when I say unbelievably huge, they really are just like the ones which are going to be presented in today's contest. The winning prize comprises a grand dancing gig at the great Palais Garnier and seven days' paid vacation in Paris with two more loved ones other than the dancers themselves.", the voice continued.

"The prize for the first runner-up includes a spot for a performance in the Berlin Theater and two gold plated trophies in the shape of pointe shoes." the voice announced excitedly.

"The prize for the second runner-up contains a chance to perform at the Chicago Theater and two silver-plated statues of a dancing girl." The voice concluded.

"Well, now that the video we have a whiff of what the prizes are and how much grandeur they possess and most of all, now that we have given the judges enough time to decide who the prizes would go to it is quite fair that now with no delay we announce the three big winning duos. May I ask all the dancers to come up on the stage and stand together?" the host announced.

All the dancers came up on the stage, still in their dancing dresses and their pointe shoes, and stood side by side with each other.

Alex's eyes were shining in the bright focus of the lights as he and Cain stood there, not knowing the results of the day. The shine intensified the moment he noticed Shawn and Lizzie seated in the middle row of the auditorium with the stage right in front of him with wide smiles on their faces. Alex felt kind of lightened now that he saw two of his favorite people seated in front of him cheering him on.

Cain was tensed too. It had been a lifelong dream for him to perform at the Palais Garnier, and he really wanted him and Alex to win the first prize.

The four judges kept on nodding among themselves and after they had properly debated their decisions, they passed on the card bearing the names of the winner to the host.

"I have the card now, as you guys can obviously see. Ooh, I can sense the tension all over this place, most of it coming from the stage." the host said.

She walked over to Cain.

"What do you think? Would you win?" the host asked.

"Would just say the names already?" Cain said, laughing.

Laughs were heard across the hall as well. Of course, they loved him.

"Fair enough." the host said.

"The prize for the second runner-up goes to Norman Lee and Dottie Smith from Phoenix, Arizona for display of exemplary talent and synchronization." the host announced.
