Shoto POV

As I sat on the bed, I was being very cautious. I didn't know who these people were, and even though I knew that heroes were good people, I didn't trust a word coming out of these people. I vaguely remember that my father was a hero; but, I don't remember much of my past other than that. The man in black was scary looking and the people in white looked like the scientists. But, the furry mouse creature looked more like Sun and I. I felt inclined to trust his words more than anyone else's only because of our similarities. (The boys could smell the faint wif of chemicals on Nezu which led them to think he went through something like them.)

I looked at the people in the room and concluded that I should behave and listen to whatever commands were made. This is because I was at a disadvantage; Sun was asleep and I was outnumbered. I sat in front of Sun to protect him, not trusting the words of the man in black who said they wouldn't hurt us. Everyone hurts us. I knew asking a question was not aloud, but I took my chances and asked what they wanted us for.

The furry creature opened his mouth and took a step forward. This caused me to flinch because I don't like when people other than Sun get close to me. Noticing this his steps faltered and he calmly took a few steps back. "We simply want to heal you and give you the proper lives you two deserve. I have read your files and have deducted that you both haven't had the best lives" He finished with a sad smile. I looked at him with untrusting eyes, "That's what the scientists said. What makes you any different. For all I know you guys could be working with them!"

I was restless. I had to get out of here. It wasn't safe. No where was safe. I had to keep Sun safe. He suffered to much. I growl at everyone in the room and get into a attack position. I would keep him safe no matter what.

The furry creature simply put up his paws, signally that he was in no position to fight. Still, I glared at the rest. My attention was turned back towards the furry creature as he spoke once more. "I understand you don't trust any of us and you wish to protect your friend, so if you would like, I can send everyone out of the room for the time being. I only wish to ask a few questions, then I myself will leave you two alone aswell."

I thought about his offer. He could get the scary people out and all I had to do was answer a few questions? It seemed to easy, but at this point I would take any risk. I huffed and nodded. The people in the room quickly cleared out, with the man in black shooting the furry creature an unreadable look. Once everyone was out I sat back, more relaxed than before.

I looked over at the chair that the scary man was sitting in when I woke up to see the furry creature climbing up it and sitting down cross-legged. "Now, the first question I would like to ask was made by an observation I made. You seem to more articulate in your words than your friend. Why is that?" I looked over at the sleeping Sun and sighed.

Third POV

"I knew how to talk before I was taken by the scientists. But Sun was already there. I don't really know how long he was there before me but he barely spoke when we did meet. Eventually he just learned off of me." Nezu nodded in understanding, "And do you remember anything from before your capture?" Shoto shook his head, "Only that my father was a hero or something like that" Nezu gained a surprised look at the answer. Out of all the things the boy could have remembered, why was it this fact?

"Do you think you would be willing to share any info about your time in captivity." Shoto then gained a distant look in his eye and started shaking. "Uh- um- I- we- they-" Nezu could tell the boy was work himself into a panic. "Hey! It's ok! Um, tell me about Izuku!" Nezu quickly yelled trying to calm the paniced boy and get his mind off the traumatic experience.

At the unrecognizable name Shoto calmed and looked at Nezu in confusion. "Izuku?" he questioned. Nezu realized what he had said and smacked himself internally for thinking the boy would know Izuku's real name. He merely pointed to the sleeping boy. Shoto turned his head and questioned again, "You mean Sun?" Nezu nodded before including, "I don't know why you refer to him as Sun, nor him to you, Moon; but, his real name is Izuku Midoriya while yours is Shoto Todoroki."

Shoto looked at Nezu in shock and then frowned. "I- I don't believe you. I may be answering your questions but that doesn't mean you are trust worthy. I don't know who this Shoto Todoroki or Izuku Midoriya are, but I am Moon and this is Sun," he said pointing to the sleeping boy.

Nezu sighed at Shoto's difficult nature, 'Just like his father.' Shoto was about to continue speaking when he felt a tremble coming from the figure beside him. Shoto turned to faced Izuku with a worried expression. Izuku continued to tremble and Shoto carefully pet his hair to relax him. Eventually he calmed and opened his eyes. He took in his field of vision and when he made the connection of looking at Shoto he jumped on him. "Moon!" He called out, pulling Shoto into a hug and burying his head into Shoto's chest.

"How are you feeling Sun?" "I'm fine as long as your not hurt" Izuku looked up and smiled at Shoto. But as he was looking up he caught sight of Nezu in the chair beside the bed. Frightened, Izuku curled up in a protective ball and stuffed himself into Shoto's side. "Who is he Moon?" Izuku whispered out.

Nezu being able to hear him simply introduced himself again, "I'm Nezu my little neko friend." Izuku looked at Nezu wide eyed, a mixture of fear and curiosity swimming within them. Nezu smiled at him and continued to speak, "Well, now that both of you are awake I would like to ask you about the meanings behind your names."

Shoto glared at Nezu again because of the bring up of the name topic again. But, he had been taught to always answer question unless you wanted to be punished. And punishment usually meant starvation, torturing Izuku in front of him, or experiments. None of which he wished to experience. "Moon is because of moon power and Sun is because of sun power" Izuku spoke up with his head bowed.

Nezu looked questioning at Shoto to explain further. "Basically we were given those names because of our quirks. Sun already had his sun quirk when I met him and not long after I gained Moon." Nezu looked in shock. He was not aware that the file that he had put to the side was more about the two neko boys than he had initially thought. He would have to push the decoding to a immediate nessecity.

Nezu then stood from his seat and looked at the two boys. He smiled at them and jumped from the chair onto the ground, startling the two 10-year-olds. He made his way to the door and before exiting, he turn back towards them. "That you for you time and cooperation. It is very much appreciated. I will be sure to send some food to your room soon. So for now I much leave my little nekos, but I will be back later to check on you. As well as try and introduce you to some people. With a little wave he exited the room.

Back on the bed the two neko's sat, exhaustion finally catching up to them. And even though Izuku had just woken up he put up no fight to curl up against Shoto's chest and go to sleep. Shoto similarly falling asleep with his arms and legs wrapped around Izuku tightly and protectively.

With Nezu...

As he walked back towards his office, he made a quick phone call, "I need Endeavor and detective Tsukauchi to come to my office as soon as possible."
