Shouto and Izuku talk late into the night about what has happened so far and what they are going to do now.

Third POV

The next day, the family of four decided to sleep in. When Aizawa woke up at 8, Hizashi grumbled that they all deserved an extra few hours of sleep. Aizawa would never argue against more sleep, so he laid back into the bean bag and went back to sleep. The next time he woke up was to the smell of bacon and pancakes. He got up and woke up the nekos slowly, telling them breakfast was ready. He looked at the clock on the bedside table and saw it was almost 11 now. Looking back to the nekos, Izuku made no advancement in getting out of bed, unlike Shoto. So reluctantly (Yeah right) Aizawa picked up the still too-small neko, put him on his hip, and walked out to the kitchen.

The late breakfast was leisurely and quiet, followed by family time in the living room. Hizashi turned on Frozen, which captivated Shoto, and Shouta used his Scarf to play with Izuku. It was very relaxing and the heroes knew that this was the best remedy after the long night the two nekos had.

It was around 2 when the phone rang. Shouta picked it up and informed Hizashi that it was Nezu, getting back to them about their meeting. Nezu had agreed to meet that day, preferably around 4. The heroes knew they couldn't leave the nekos alone right now but they also didn't know who to call to watch them. Hizashi recommended calling Nemuri since the boys were comfortable enough with her to spend at least a couple of hours with her. So with that, Nemuri was called and an hour later, the two heroes were off to see the hybrid principal.

While the boys didn't mind Nemuri, they didn't trust her as much as they did Shouta and Hizashi. They didn't necessarily interact with her while she was watching them but since they had to stay around her they, mainly Shoto, kept a close eye on her. It was easy enough to get through the rest of the day because Nemuri was asleep most of the time that the other heroes were out and Shoto and Izuku knew enough to take care of themselves. By the time night came, the nekos put up the act of being super tired. The heroes put the two to bed and, after a lot of pushing from the nekos, left the room to sleep in their own room. The heroes didn't know why the nekos didn't want them in their room, since they'd been there the majority of the night; but, they wanted the nekos to be more comfortable with requests so they left for the night.

As it got later, neither of the nekos transitioned into the field of dreams. A couple of hours passed before Izuku whispered, "I think they asleep." With that both of them sat up in bed and shifted to sit cross-legged, looking at each other. A second passed before Shoto asked the other, "Do you really trust them?" Izuku looked down hesitantly because a large part of him wanted to trust the pros hoping that they really cared for them. "Little. They saved us buy they not Moon." Shoto sighed but nodded understanding that the only person Izuku really trusted was himself. Everyone Izuku simply relied on Shotos' judgment. "I feel the same. Even though they saved us, I can't tell how much of their care is real and how much is manipulation. They seem like they really want us to trust them and see that they care for us but after everything we've been through, I don't know how to feel about it."

Izuku looked back up, nodding slowly. Izuku then opened his mouth like he wanted to say something but held off from speaking his mind. Shoto urged him with a little pushing, and Izuku voiced the question that was bugging him. "You think we have past?" Shoto looked shocked at the question but before he could respond, Izuku continued "We keep called Soro and Izu" "You mean Shoto and Izuku?" Izuku nodded at the correction. Shoto closed his eyes, thinking deeply at the possibility. It had passed through his thoughts a few times before but he never acknowledged them. "I don't really know to be completely honest. I think there is a high chance we have a past but I don't care because the past I remember and the present where I am are just you and me. In my mind that is all the past I need."

Izuku got quiet for a few moments, clutching tightly to a pillow. "Sun?" Shoto questions carefully when he saw slight trembles from Izuku. He reached out and when he spotted tears in Izuku's eyes he tossed the blankets to the side and went to hug the green neko. Izuku was still trembling when he tried speaking. "What if separated? No together? Past important?" Shoto shushed the other, rubbing his back and combing through his hair, trying to calm the panicking boy. Once the neko was calmer and taking steady breaths, Shoto reassured him again, "I will do everything I can so we are together forever. In the morning we can ask Mr. Aizawa and Mr. Yamada about our past. Alright?" Izuku hummed and nodded in silent agreement. After the crying session, Izuku was more tired and with a yawn coming from both nekos, they decided it was time to get some rest and be prepared for the next day.
