Chapter 2:My Redemption

"Avdimi stop this instant!"a mysterious voice said,and with that Avdimi shut his jaws and with a grunt,flew to the mysterious maiden.

"I am Kaida,the princess of the dragons and I am incredibly sorry for Avdimi's actions,you see were having some issues back at home"Kaida said.

"Oh,ok it's fine"I said,baffled by the life-saving turn of events"I said.

Then,Kaida whispered something to Avdimi,and with a nod and a grunt,Avdimi opened a portal to go back home.Kaida then floated down and said:

"Hello you must be Artemis,I am Kaida and I assigned Avdimi to come to your aid when you called,so,what happened that infuriated Avdimi?"Kaida said.

"Well there was a quake,and I got seperated,so I summoned a dragon,well Avdimi,and then he asked a reward,but I was'nt aware that I should give him a reward and he gave me three days to gather an offering,but like you we were having issues..."I said trailing off

"I understand Artemis,but i'm not sure Avdimi will,i'll have to settle this with him"Kaida said putting her hand on mine.

It was dawn and I got a proper view of her face.She was a beautiful girl,she seemed perfect in everyway,then I suddenly lost myself daydreaming.

"Artemis,i'm sorry but I have to leave now,time is of the essence,I have to negotiate with Avdimi soon"
I the woke up,and waved goodbye,and I was alone again....

(The Next day)

"Aaaaah!Oh thank heavens was just a nightmare!"

*roar

"Oh for the love of Dragon scales!"I said,Avdimi came back,even more horror to deal with,the perfect way to begin a fresh day...

But as I looked outside,Kaida rode majestically on Avdimi,and eventually she came off and greeted me

"Hi again Artemis!I have good and bad news for you"she said.

"Well after talking with my father and Andimi,my father said that the only way to be free of guilt you have to duel with Avdimi"she continued

"What!?How is that good news!?Fighting a dragon is anything but good news!!!"I said

"I'm not yet done,the good news is that you may seek aid from the dragons and that the duel is in a week"she ended

"Oh,okay,that's err...better?"I said.

"So when do you want to go to my world?"Kaida asked.

I said it would take some time,Kaida said she understood and she gave me an amulet.

"To call me,hold the amulet in you hands and I eventually will come"Kaida said,and so she left and I sat down under my tree...

What have I gotten myself into now!?I have gotten scolded,beaten,and worse but now I have to face a dragon!A dragon!?Uhhh,I can't fail my friends and family.I can't put them in even more trouble than they already are in!Oh,Artemis maybe your purpose here is to make problems worse.Yeah,i'm just a lowly screw-up.But,Kaida,there is something with her,the spark....she's kind,and seems perfect,definitely better than me...maybe if I go atleast when I die against Avdimi nobody would miss me....yeah that seems good

So I got some things and at mignight I left to a plain faraway from the village,and summoned Avdimi.

"So you ready to go to my world?I'm sure that you'll love the....nevermind"Kaida said,trailing off
