Chapter 14:Revival of Ruby

"Uhhhhh,wh-what?"I said waking up.

I had woken up to two faces,Kaida and Scepthis,who was covered in bandages

"What happened?"I aksed.I looked down at myself and I too was covered in bandages.

"Baylin,he possesed my father,and then me.He ordered me to kill Scepthis and then he revealed himself.Then you fought and I awoke and Ruby was there and ahe gave all of her life energy to you,then you defeated Baylin.I'm sorry Artemis but Ruby can't come back,she gave her energy to you"Kaida said,I fell back.No,I looked at Kaida and lowered my head.

"No"I muttered

"I'm sorry"Kaida said.

I broke into tears,Kaoda sat beside me and Scethis whimpered and sighed.

"I can change that"Scepthis muttered

I looked up and he nodded.

"Follow me"I stood up and winced but eventually followed Scepthis to the courtyard.

Then he said some encantation and his eyes turned purple and in the middle Ruby formed in her blazing fiery self.Alive,I ran to hug and she nodded at Scepthis then he turned and began to spread his wings.

"Scepthis!Where are you going?"I asked

"I'm sorry,but I have to leave.Around you i've become weakened,i'm to attached to you,i'm aorry but I have to leave"Scepthis said

"No,why can't you stay with me,with us?"I asked

"I can't "Scepthis muttered

Then I hugged him and I was filled with tears.

"Stay"I muttered

"I have to go"

"Where will you go?"I asked

"In Mania's old castle"Scepthis said.

Then he flew away.When he flew out of sight I fell to my knees.Ruby was alive again,why wasn't I happy?Why do I feel like a part of me is gone?Was it because of Scepthis?Had I gotten attached to him?

"Yes,you had,I'm sorry but Scepthis had become attached to you,so he had to leave it would change his nature.He's a creature of destruction,and your good,it can't work"Ruby said

"I need to see him again"I said

"Ruby lets go!"she sighed and I flew to Mania's castle.

Kaida followed us but Ruby told Ryuu that we had to do this alone.When we were near Mania's castle I heard roars of agony and then an explosion,Scepthis!

(At Mania's new castle)

"Mania,there is a growing force,a boy and he changed Scepthis to good,what must we do your majesty?"a man asked

"Leave them be,I want a good challenge,it's been a thousand years since I had a good fight"a mysterious voice said

"But Scepthis well it's time I take his powers for good,he's changed sides on too many times"the voice said

"Very well"the man said.

(At Mania's old castle ruins)

"Scepthis!Scepthis stop!"I said

He was roaring and sending blasts everywhere there was pain in his eyes,then he roared and fell on his knees.

"What's happening to me!?"Scepthis asked.

He looked up and had a pleading look,then I knew he needed help.I looked at Ruby and she nodded we had rushed to Scepthis and I said.

"We need to go back to the caretaker"Scepthis nodded and we flew.

He fell and we had to carry him when we finally reached the caretaker and he said there was nothing wrong with him,I carried him to the tree

"It'll be okay"I said,tearing.

He winced and then he was lifted in the air,his eyes turned purple,and then his entire body glowed purple and then it formed an orb and the orb exploded.Then he fell and then his eyes turned grey,and he stopped moving.

"Scepthis!Scepthis!Ruby!?Scepthis stopped moving"I screamed.

I told her what happened and her head fell.

"He's not gonna be here for long"Ruby said,not meeting my eyes,then Scepthis muttered one name.

"M-mania,go t-to her new castle...."then his head dropped,and his breathing slowed.

"Let's go"I said

"We don't even know where it is"Ruby said

"I said,lets go!"

Little did I know that was one of the worst mistakes I had ever done.....
