That night something seemed to have shifted between the 2 of them

Mullai could sense Kathir making the efforts to be physically close with her...for starters he didn't sit in one corner of the bed far away from her ..he didn't shuffle away from her when she sat down close to him..

But she sensed how unsure he was ..and that hurt her

But in parallel the house was gearing up for Meena's baby shower function..

And the next few days moved in a flurry of excitement..

Dhanam had been quite stern with Mullai..she was to only help with taking care of Saadhana ...

But the pain in both the ladies when she got up again with a lot of effort was evident

And that's when Mullai had a doubt if they were planning a surprise for her..

She was in her room thinking these thoughts alone

And she panicked

Were they planning both their baby showers on the same day

She couldn't think of anything else

And she started seething

She made a resolve to herself that come what may she wouldn't let them make her go home so soon..even if they have her baby shower done early she would go home only later or better still she would mandate Kathir to go and stay with her..she wouldn't budge from her stance

Kathir who walked in to summon her for dinner took one look at her and realised she was in a very foul mood..

He entered the room and stood wondering what to do next

He went and sat on the bed next to her
