Mullai sat smiling feeling very pampered

And this is how the 2 months leading up to Mullai's Valaikaappu moved

Bursts of happiness followed by a strange sense of melonchaly

And finally the D day arrived

The previous night while everyone were in a frenzy getting things ready for the next day

Mullai sat in her room thinking about the last time she had been to her parents place ..or rather dropped at her parents place by a very angry Kathir

Things were settling down to a rhythm after Chaaru's wedding

Kathir was at the shop full time..

Mullai missed the days when they had been together the whole day

She missed him during the daytime

The one off days when he came home in the afternoons made her really happy

And Kathir she realised could be quite randy as well..

He would wink at her with others around or surreptitiously nod and let her know that he was going to the room and indicate for her to follow

Initially she was very amused..she remembered the Kathir before the accident and how shy and aloof he was especially in front of the family

But Mullai soon realised that this was a new side to Kathir that she didn't know existed

In fact she couldn't believe that this was the same guy she had shared a room with the last 1+ year..the same guy was who hardly spoke

In fact some of the more profound conversations they had were when she opened the topic up..in fact those were the times she actually realised she was in the company of a very sorted man

But this guy was chatty..and he was quite demanding..sometimes in a cute you should prioritise me over others kind of way ..but other times she struggled trying to figure out how to handle him

When he was playful..He actually seemed to enjoy putting her on the spot like that

Like when she served tea one time..she came to him last and he refused the tea..

Mullai stood confused since she had made tea in the first place since he asked for it

Later before leaving to the shop she had tried speaking to him about it and all he had said was
