Luke POV: (a few months later)

Cupcake still hasn't told us why we're cleaning an entire ward, that hasn't had animals in since I've been here! Even though North has added at least ten new wards to each of the other three wings. Sang has still never used this one, but now she want us to clean the whole bloody thing in a few hours? I mean I love her, loads, but she didn't give us, me and North, an explanation before she vanished with Jess.

"Lucien," I jump, "less daydreaming about Baby, more cleaning!" I can't hide the scowl that I send at him, even though I can feel my cheeks heating. I love my brother, as a brother, but his way too perceptive, especially when I hear Cupcakes signature giggle from just behind me.

"His not dreaming of me North Star! He is wondering why you have to clean the entire ward when we haven't used it, in the almost year that he's known me, despite the fact that I've got you to add bays onto all the other wards!" I turn, gaping at her, "So, am I right?" she tilts her head, like a puppy and a tiny smile appears, her eyes sparkling, I love seeing her like this. "I'll take that as a, yes." her smile widens.

"When in hell did you become a mind reader Cupcake?" her face blanks, totally losing the mischievous glint in her eye.

"I've always been a mind reader Ninja!" her voice is totally calm, I start laughing, but she just looks too perfectly serious the laugh trails off...

"You are joking right?" I sound hesitant, the second I ask the question I smack the back of my own head, "don't worry North I did it for you!" he snorts, but doesn't say anything, "know how stupid that sounded!" Another familiar laugh comes from the doorway, mixing with Jess's giggle. "Gabe! Your back!" my friend smiles.

"Mean, we back!" A louder voice comes from outside the door, if the bad grammar and accent didn't give him away then the fact that North groans and mutters 'crow' from beside me certainly does, therefore...

"Rav, the phase should be 'you mean we are back!'" predictably Corey's right behind the Russian. They don't seem to go anywhere without each other.

"As much as I'm loving the reunion, can you please tell us why we're here again, I got the feeling you weren't planning on bringing us back, when you drugged us!" of course Marc has to ruin it, I can see Cupcake's mood deflate, not sure why she brought him, to be fair.

"The stop quick so shhh two-tone!" her defence comes from the one person I didn't think it would, considering we kind of drugged him as well! Cupcake offers him a small real smile. The tension builds as Raven stares Marc down.

It breaks when Leo wanders in, he quickly become one of Cupcakes babies, as his mum, as she predicted, didn't ever do any kind of mothering, but never bonded with the rest of us. Yet, he obviously recognises Corey as, after a glance to check in with his mum, he makes his way straight over. It takes Corey a second to recognise who it is, before he drops to his knees gasping. I watch Leo snuggle into him, in a way that he only ever does with Cupcake. I look back at the door, waiting. I catch Jess's eye.

"Three... Two... One!" we both say together. The four boys just look confused, Cupcake is at least smiling again, North just rolls his eyes, somehow his arms now wrapped firmly around Cupcake's waist.

"Baaaaaaaaa" a chorus of bleats and baa's, comes as the crowd of 'lambs' that follow Leo everywhere appear, the same ones that imprinted on Marc when they came in.
