Juliet's POV
It's been weeks since I've spoken to Nate. He's over at the apartment with the guys almost every day but we keep our distance. I try to only speak when I have to, to answer a question from the guys when he's around but I dodge any real contact with Nate.
It's seems like I spend most of my time regretting every decision I've made since I moved to La. I can't seem to get anything right. Of course being with Gia is the only good part, also seeing Katie but we haven't talked much, maybe once or twice a week over text or phone calls.
I know I should be more productive and everything. I'm getting good grades thankfully so I don't have to pay even more my online college classes. I'm thinking about quitting my job at Menchies since I am studying law. I need to get a job as a paid intern at a law firm.
I've been so busy with work that I barely have time to ride my dirt bike with Gia or do any kind of real physical activity, not that I enjoy sports. I decided that I need to get outside on my two days off of work so I can workout and then spend the rest of my free time actually enjoying myself for once.
I put my hair in a ponytail, put on my sports bra and joggers, no makeup and ran down stairs iPhone and headphones in hand.
Christen: Can I see you tonight?
Me: Yeah sure. What's up?
Christen: I just have some important stuff to tell you (:
Me: Okay. Should I meet you somewhere?
Christen: In N' Out @6:30
Me: Of course <3
I'm not sure why but I'm really nervous. I feel like he's going to tell me he doesn't want to see me anymore or that he has a girlfriend or something. I know it's bad but every time I talk to Christen I think about Nate.
It hurts to know that I'm thinking about him all the time and he is probably out having sex with three other girls.
I don't even know why the hell I care so much.
I decided to grab a basketball as well so I could practice. Jack and Jack want to teach me tomorrow so I thought maybe I could practice a little and surprise them tomorrow.
I put my phone in my sports bra then put shuffle on my favorites playlist and grabbed the ball and took off running. It was about ten minutes over there in a car and 15 walking/running.
I jogged for a while and started to get a little tired but was really close so I took off at full speed reaching the gates to the basketball courts. I bent over and held my thighs breathing heavy. Then came back up and dribbled the ball to the courts.
I tried to turn away unnoticed seeing that all four guys were already there.
"Juliet!!!! Hey!" Johnson yelled.
"Fuck." I mumbled to myself.
They all walked towards me shirtless in basketball shorts. If I would have known they would be here I would be wearing a shirt. The guys and I are the only people that come here and they were supposed to be recording all day.
"I thought you guys were recording all day.." I said
"Well we are but we decided to take a little basketball break." Gilinsky said staring at my eyes then moving his eyes up and down at me after he finished speaking.
"I thought you hated sports." Sammy mocked me.
"I do. But I really needed to get outside. Just need a break from work ya know?"
