Juliet's POV
I don't even believe it. I don't believe that my best friend is gone. Kate, Gia and I are best friends. Kate can't just disappear. Everyone was at the hospital that night. Kate only had a few close friends but everyone loved her. Especially Bryant who never completely told her but she loved him a lot. He was all she talked about.
I don't know how I'm going to live without her smile and her laugh and her non stop talking. We made our YouTube videos together and she has a whole fan base that needs to be told about her death. I feel like I can't even breathe. It hurts so bad... Like physically hurts. I haven't eaten since yesterday morning and I'm hungry but I'm not hungry. I can't eat. I can't hold anything down.
I don't even want to talk to anyone but Kate and Gia right now. Last night Gia and I had a sleepover. Meaning she came home with me to my apartment last night and we just cried together. She slept where Nate usually does. Him and I have never slept together sexually but he usually just spends the night. Of course I want to wake up in his arms but I just needed space. I needed my best friend last night and she needed me. Nate wanted to help but I needed him to be with the guys.
Kate was on her way to Gia's apartment when a truck driver smashed into the side of her car. The car was smashed and Kate was taken to the hospital but we all knew she wasn't going to make it. I had to stay with her. She would do the same for me. I don't know how I will ever go back to my normal life but somehow I'll manage.
"Juliet...." Gia speaks up.
"Yes Gia?"
"Thank you for being my best friend. I love you."
"I love you too Gia. Thank you too."
"I don't think I told Kate that enough."
"She knew how much we love her."
She turns over and faces me pulling up the covers. Then she scoots closer and hugs me. I feel tears roll down her cheeks.
There's a knock on the door. Then a second later the door opens. Figures... Nate has a key. I hear a little bit of talking and feet climbing the stairs. The bedroom door opens.
"Nate?" I ask.
"Yeah. I'm here babe."
Johnson walks in behind Nate and the both sit on the end of the bed.
"Everyone is downstairs and we brought lunch." Johnson says after kissing Gia's cheek.
"I don't wanna get up." Gia whispers.
"Come on babe. We can eat and then I'll take you home and we can watch movies."
"Okay." Gia says quietly.
Johnson picks Gia up and carries her downstairs bridal style.
Then Nate slides in bed next to me.
"I'm sorry I wasn't there when it first happened."
"I'm sorry I didn't call."
"I love you Juliet."
"I love you too Nathan."

"Thank you guys for being here."
"Of course. We'll always be here for you." Heavenly replies.
"Hey so I have something to share with you guys.." Nate says looking in my eyes.
"What is it?" I ask curious.
"So Bryant had a photo shoot with Kate about a month ago..." He begins and Bryant blushes.
"And..." I laugh.
"I decided to pull some pictures together last night." Nate finishes turning on the tv and putting in a DVD.
Nate sits back down on the couch and pulls me close and the video begins.
*play the song at the top*
See you again starts playing and there she is... Kate. Her graduation picture. Then the picture of us at graduation and prom.
"It's been a long day, without you my friend but I'll tell you all about it when I see you again..."
Then at our race, the three of us.
Her and Bryant.
Then everyone... Nate and I, Kate and Bryant, Gia and Jonson, Adna and Gilinsky, and Heavenly and Sammy.
I can't contain my sobs and I look over to see everyone else crying. Then I look at Nate. He moves my hair out of my face and wipes a tear from my cheek. The video came to an end with a picture that Bryant took of my best friend Kate (pic above).
"You really did this Nate?"
"Yeah. I figured you need some closure. We all do."
"You must have been up all night."
"Anything for my beautiful girlfriend. We all love her so much. We needed this." He says.
Oh my God. Nate is so ugh... He's perfect. He's so selfless and passionate. That's why I love him.
"It was beautiful Nate." I say kissing him lightly.
"Yeah." Everyone agrees.
Gilinsky walks out of the kitchen with an assortment of drinks.
"To Kate."
