Gia's POV
I'm laying in bed thinking about our trip which happens to be today. I roll over and Jack isn't in bed. I get up and pull a sweatshirt over my head and see that Jack finally packed his bags. I head downstairs to the kitchen and Jack is making breakfast. Jack must have gone home then brought his bags back over to my apartment where he has been sleeping most nights. I sit down and read a few pages of my book before he finishes making breakfast and notices me. He sits down and puts a plate in front of me.
"Good morning beautiful." He says.
"Good morning Jack. Thanks for breakfast."
"Yeah I wanted to get a head start so we can leave and beat traffic." He says taking a drink of water, "and also because you usually make breakfast and I wanted to surprise you." Jack smiled.
"Aw I love you." I say. I have the sweetest boyfriend ever. Honestly I don't think anyone saw it coming, me dating my best friends cousin.
"Love you too. So when you're done eating we can finish getting ready then leave." He says almost done eating.
"Okay sounds good." I finish up eating and head upstairs after a few minutes.
After I get out of the shower I receive a text from Adna.
Adna: Jack and I are on our way to your apartment. See you in five. (:
Me: Okay great. I'll try to be ready soon. 😂
Right when I finish my makeup the doorbell rings and Jack tells me he'll get it. Jack and I are driving with Gilinsky and Adna, and Nate and Juliet are driving with Sammy and Heavenly then we will all meet up at the camp site. I'm so excited. Adna knocks on the door.
"Hey Gia!"
"What's up Adna?"
"Nothing so are you excited?"
"Super excited." I say then remember I need to wear something presentable. "Help me find an outfit?" I ask and she gladly excepts.
"This is perfect!" She smiles at the red romper and black hightop converse she chose.
"Okay thanks! We should get going now. J & J will get impatient." We both laugh then she helps me bring our bags downstairs to the guys.
We all pile into Gilinsky's Jeep with all of our stuff then get on the freeway which I know will take forever. Jack turns on the radio and we all sing along to almost every song that comes on the radio. Three and a half hours later we arrive at the camp site. I'm so excited to be here and I know Adna is too. I feel like over the past couple of months we have gotten really close. It's nice. We get out of the car so Gilinsky can part and set up our rented RV. Jack walks over and holds my waist.
"Im so happy I'm here with you baby." He says.
"Me too Jack." We kiss but it gets cut short by Sammy's obnoxious voice.
"Ew gross. Get a room." He laughs waving his arms through the car window.
Nate is driving and Juliet is in the passenger seat. Sammy and Heavenly are in the back seat. Juliet rolls down her window and Nate and her start singing as loud as they possibly can causing other campers nearby to give us dirty looks. We just laugh then they park right next to us.
After all of us are set up the guys go into the little town to pick up some late lunch and Juliet, Heavenly, Adna, and I put on our bikinis and go to the swimming pool. The perfect beginning to the perfect vacation with the best people. Even though the altitude is supposed to make it harder to breathe the air smells so fresh and clean and the sky is bright blue. It's 98 degrees. And amazingly enough 45 minutes later the guys show up with food. The first time ever they didn't get distracted.
"So what are we gonna do tomorrow?" I ask already planning.
"We should take a trail ride on our bikes." Adna says and we all agree.
"And there is a little coffee shop called the Looney Bean we could go too." Juliet adds.
There always has to be coffee involved.
"Then we could go look around at all the shops." I think out loud.
"And we obviously have to go night swimming." Heavenly says.
"So us guys have no say in what we do?" Sammy laughs as they join us in the pool.
"Nope." Heavenly says and we all laugh.
"Who says you were invited?" Juliet says looking at Nate.
He just laughs then picks her up and throws her into the pool. Not long after a full on water fight starts and the guys start splashing us.
"Okay okay okay!" Juliet laughs. "You can go..." They all stop.
"Maybe..." I say then the chaos resumes.

A/N
This was kinda a filler chapter but I didn't know how to show them getting to Mammoth and I wanted to include everyone more so I did it in Gia's POV. Anyways next chapter will have a lot more of Nate and Juliet. And woohoo I updated two days in a row even though this chapter sucked.
