Juliet's POV
Every morning begins with Nate holding me close and every day ends in his arms. Just how I like it. I only wish that Sammy was not my alarm clock on the whole trip.
"Let's go swimming mothafuckaaas!" Sammy yells running out of their bedroom.
I roll over and immediately know that I won't be sleeping in. Nate laughs with his head nuzzled in the pillow.
"I'm sorry baby." He says kissing my cheek.
"About what?" I laugh.
"That he's here." We both chuckle.
We both love him though so it's okay. Haha.
"Ugh." I mumble and climb out of bed.
Nate gets dressed and I brush my teeth.
"Nate?"
"Yes baby?"
"Sammy knows we can't actually go swimming in the lake right. Ice from the mountains is melting and it's going to be freezing." I say laughing.
"Well I guess we will just have to tell him that." He says slightly laughing.
After we both finish getting ready we head out the door with Sammy and Heavenly. In the car I try to mention to Sammy that we can't go swimming and he's not taking it too well.
"Eh I'll do it anyways." Sammy says flexing his muscles.
"Okay, if you say so tough guy." Heavenly teases and we all laugh.
He pretends to look hurt then
Sammy leans in and kisses her.
"Aw!" I say.
"Ugh. Go back to bed." Nate laughs.
"Hey guys!" We all tell out the windows.
Gilinsky, Adna, Johnson, and Gia pull up next to us. The little roads are practically empty except for the two of us.
"Last one there has to pay for all of it!" Gilinsky yells from the drivers seat.
Gilinsky takes off and so does Nate. We speed down the road.
"Nate!" I yell.
"Lil mama I don't wanna pay. Sorry."
I'm literally so nervous. Only because I know how competitive Nate is. We pull ahead of Jack and make it onto the trail first which is so narrow we've already won. Nate starts to slow to normal speed and I look in the mirror. Jack is driving at the speed limit and I hear sirens. Nate pulls to the side of the road and Jack keeps driving and they all give a sincere look.
"What's the problem officer?"
"You know you were going way past the speed limit?"
"Yeah I'm aware of that." Nate replies.
"Do you know how fast you were going?"
"No sir."
"Well I'm going have I see your license and registration and I'll have to write you a ticket"
And with that he writes the ticket and checks Nate's license and we drive away.
"Shit." Nate says now going the speed limit, "Well it's not gonna ruin my day. Let's go."
We go canoeing and takes four separate canoes. Nate and I go in a two person boat. We talk and laugh. He leans in to kiss me and I kiss back. Just then Sammy and Heavenly bump into us knocking us over into the freezing water.
"Well I'm glad we left our phones in the car." Nate laughs ruffling his hair.
I take off my soaked shirt revealing my bathing suit, "It's freezing."
"Damn ma I think it just heated up a little bit."
"Shut up Nathan." I blush and we eventually get used to the water.
With one hand Nate hold the canoe with the rows inside and with the other hand holds my waist.
"Sorry..." Sammy says sarcastically smiling.
"What happened?" Gia and Adna ask when they float over to us.
"This!" Sammy laughs and him and Heavenly each tip a canoe over.
By the end of the day we are all swimming in the lake will our boats float nearby.
