"Seeing how, by his divine power, all things that lead to life and godliness have been given to us, by the full knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and virtue, by which his precious and most have been given to us. great promises, that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, delivering yourselves from the corruption of the passions of the world."
2 Peter 1:3-4
The world offers many things for us, but God has something for his church that the world cannot offer: true joy! (Nehemiah 8:10)
The Holy Spirit, together with Jesus, come to show us the way that leads to this joy, that is, to the Father's heart! (John 14:6; 16:8)
