One Dance

～Percy's point～

We sat on the sand thinking about life above when there was a loud crash
I looked behind me to see Luke in a pile of knocked over items

"Luke?!"

"What is all of this? Are you mad Percy?! If you father know you had all of this" he waved his claw to everything.

"It's just a collection"

"A collection...I see... so I guess HE'S  part of the collection aswell?" He asked pointing at Nico

"The collection is part his but no he's not part of it"

"You father wouldn't like that your hanging out with him and his friends"

"Don't tell him Luke" Grover pledged
For me.

"I understand your under a lot of pressure, so how about I got you home ok?" He said trying to guide me out of the cave when a shadow passed overhead. I immediately looked at Nico.

"You go home, I'm going to see what that is" he teased floating up to the surface

"Oh no you don't" I said following him up. Luke yelled something but I wasn't listening.

When I got to the surface I saw bright colorful lights shooting up into the sky.

"Whoa"

"Look!" Nico said pointing at something
"It's a ship!"

"Is that what that's call?!"

"Yeah, we have them in the underworld...you-"
He started to say pointing at the ship but I cut him off

"Yes!"

We both went over to the ship and climbed to a part the allowed us to see in.
There was all kinds of humans dancing and cheering. Sitting off the the side was a girl reading a book. (yes we have books in the ocean there just not made of whatever hers was) the girl had blonde hair and beautiful gray eyes that looked a little scary truth be told but I still found myself lost in them until something came up and licked my face and I froze in fear positive this hairy thing wanted to eat me, I mean sharks lick to taste. Nico had to cover his mouth to keep from laughing.
Someone made a loud almost musical noise

"Mrs O'Leary, here girl. whatcha doing, huh girl?"
The boy said calling the creature and petting it. The boy had blonde hair almost like the girl only his seemed to glow and I think he had blue.....eyes? I don't know I wasn't really looking

"Hey there, boys! Quite the show, eh?"
Leo called flying down to us.

"Leo, Shhhh! The human will hear you."

"Oooh" he said
"I see, WE'RE ON A MISSION TO DISCOVER!"

He yelled and I put my hand over his mouth.

"I've always wanted to see one up close, look at her isn't she beautiful"

"she looks kinda hairy, but if that you thing" he said confused

"No the one with the book" I pointed at the girl

"She's scary" was all he said

"Nico you-"
I looked over at him to see he wasn't paying attention.

"Hello, Nico" I said waving a hand in front of his face

"Percy?" He said not moving or looking away from whatever had his attention.

"Um, yeah?"

"There's something I need to tell you"

"Oooooo....kkkkk" I dragged out each latter confused

"I had a crush on you"
Ok that made my eye shoot up.
He looked over for only a second before  Chuckling and looking back to whatever.

"Don't worry, I don't anymore your not really my type"

He paused a moment before pointing at the boy I saw call the creature and was now playing a different kind of snarfblat.

"I can't take my eyes off him"
He sighed then softly began to sing.

He reached and pointed to the sky and smile on his face

He laughed a little
