I jumped into the whirlpool that was starting to get even bigger. I started to try and swim to the ship but the whirlpool was now to strong. Luckily I was pulled out just before part of an old ship hit me.

"Looked like you needed a lift" Leo said as I hung from his claws.
He flew over to the ship and dropped me about a foot from the ground before landing next to me.

"Annabeth!" Will hollered as he ran up to me.

"I'm glad your ok. Where's Percy?" Will asked

"I told him to distract her" I said pointing at the 20 some foot women who was trying to kill us.

"Where's Nico" I asked

"He said he was going to try and fight her" Will said looking worried.

"So what's the plan?" Leo asked

"Do you see that ship over there?" I asked pointing at a shunken ship that was now on the surface of the whirlpool.

"Yeah" Leo said

"Do you think you could move it against the current and at her" I asked

"It'll be a little hard, but I think so" Leo said

"Great, wait here." I said as I ran below deck. I looked around until I found a good sized robe then I ran back up.

"If you use this to pull the ship it should help" I said as I walked up to Leo

"So you want me to pull it like a carriage?" Leo asked

"That's actually a great idea" I said. I took the robe and tied it like a horse halter then put it on Leo.

"You should have enough robe on the end to tie to the ship" I said

"So what do I do when I get the ship to her?" Leo asked

"Your going to stab the bowsprit into her"

"I've been waiting a long time for this. Look out Nyx, I told you before you hadn't seen the last of me" Leo said with a grin before flying off.

"Dose he know our big friend somehow?" Will asked

I thought for just a moment before an idea came to me.

"Maybe she's the reason his a dragon" I said

"It might be best to save the chating for later" Chiron said as he shot an arrow at who I know knew what Nyx. Nyx, where had I heard that name. I stood there trying to think before it finally came to me.

"Will, I'm going to try and steer the ship and stab her from this side" I said placing a hand on his shoulder

"What's wrong? Is there something you need me to do?" Will asked

"Will, I don't know how dangerous it is or if you can even do it" I said

Will's head shot but when someone yelled and we saw Nyx back hand Nico away from her sending him sailing into the water.

Will turned back to me with determination in his eyes

"Tell me what I need to do" He said

"If that's the actually Nyx, she controls darkness and thrives in it....I've seen you create light before but....you may not be able to create the amount of light we need to weaken her and there's a possibility the effect it could kill you" I said

Will looked me in the eyes with the same pained look he had back then and his eyes watered.

"I can't lose him. I'm done with losing people I love" He said before pulling me into a hug.

"Go do your thing" he said as he let go.
I nodded. I ran over to each mast and made sure they were in proper position and that the sails were lowered all the way before I ran to the helm. I position the wheel where it needed to be and held it doing my best to make sure it didn't move. Below on the main deck Chiron was still shooting arrows at Nyx while Will started to glow.

"You puny pathetic fools!" Boomed the voice of Nyx

"You can never defeat me! I am the darkness of your nights! And you are in my domain!" She yelled as she tried to blast something in the water that I was hoping wasn't Percy. Nico had made his way back to Nyx and was about to attack her but she grabbed him in her hand.

"I will crush you boy!" She yelled at him

Right before our ship hit her she squeezed Nico and he yelled out in pain and that was when Will burst into pure light making me have to cover my eyes. I could hear Nyx screaming as the ship hit her and then the light dimmed and I opened my eyes to see Nyx explode in a cloud of darkness and as she did the same wind that went into Percy throat swirled around Leo after it encircle him entirely he shrunk and fell into the water from about 10 feet in the air screaming. He popped his head out of the water and coughed and I saw the same mad genius of a boy that I had known before he was somehow turned into a dragon. He started to swim to the ship and when he got to the latter he paused

"Could you all close your eyes?" He asked and so I closed and covered my eyes as I heard him climb aboard.

"Ok, you're good" he said after a moment and I opened my eyes to see him wearing the pants the Nico lost.

"We did it!" I yelled happily. Leo gave his famous crazy smile but then his face dropped

"Wait, where's Will?" He asked. I looked around and saw Will laying face first where he had been standing only moments ago. We both ran as fast as we could to his side.
I knelt down and reached out to feel his plus.

"His plus is very weak, I an barely feel it" I said as tears started to feel my eyes

"No" Leo muttered under his breath.
