"And that's all for our project," I said as the class clapped.

"That was a good presentation," Mr. Press said. "Definitely one of my favorites of the day."

"All because of me," Gaulden said making me roll my eyes.

"Don't lie to these people," I said making the class laugh.

The bell rung and the class hurried out of the school.

I walked to my locker to get everything out of it. I was reaching for my book when someone hit my locker abruptly.

"Why you got so much books in ya locker? School ain even that serious." He helped me get all of my books out of my locker.

"To you, Gaulden. What do you want?" I asked.

"I really don't like you, V." He said. "Monroe out of town?"

"Yeah, why'd you ask?" I said.

"Aye say!" He yelled and started beating up a random dude.

I pulled him off of him and he laughed.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" I asked him. He just mugged me. He put my bags in the back of his car.

"You ugly as hell, V. You coming to the studio wit me," he said.

"I didn't agree with that," I said. "What about Jayda?"

"I should leave yo dick sucking ass in this fuckin parking lot since you want to be Ms. ask all nem fucking questions," he said. "Give me a kiss."

"Let me out right here. You are not going to disrespect me and be bipolar," I said.

"I am bipolar." He slid his hands up my thigh and started rubbing it. "Get comfortable. It's gonna take a minute."

"Wake the fuck up, whore." He slapped my thigh making me jump.

"We here?" I asked him.

"Nah we there," he said. He got my bags out of the car and held my hand as we walked into the studio.

"Waddup, Yb." Kevin Gates greeted him.

"Waddup, lil bit. Who you?" He asked.

"I am a huge fan of your music," I said making him laugh.

"This yours Yb?" He asked Gaulden.

"Hell yeah," he said.

"I'm your what?" I asked him as he pulled me to the back of the studio.

"You like it down here in BR?" He asked me.

"So far I do." I continued in my planner.

"Hey, Yb," some girls came in and spoke to him.

"Waddup, Ma. How you?" He asked. An unfamiliar feeling sat in my throat. A feeling of jealousy.

"I'm good. This ya fling for the week?" She asked making him laugh.
