𝐓𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐲-𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫

CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR:
SUN'S COMING UP

"THESE ARE ULTRASONIC EMITTERS." ARGENT told them as he placed one in the ground. "It's one of the tools we use to corral werewolves, pushing them into a direction we want them to run." He pressed down on the top of it, a bright light shining a long with a high pitched noise. "Gives off high-pitched frequency that only they can hear."

"God, no kidding!" Isaac snapped as the group of werewolves clutched their heads at the sound. He turned it off before standing up and handing the four werewolves two emitters each.

"The are gonna drive them to the school?" Derek asked as he examined them.

"And then it's up to you to get them to the basement." Argent nodded, handing tow to Gwen. She took them in her hands, examining them before sharing a look with Isaac.

"Does anyone else want to rethink the plan where we just, uh, kill them?" Isaac questioned the group.

Scott turned his head to look at the boy. "It's gonna work." He looked towards Derek who was looking at him in slight disbelief. Scott gave a firm nod of his head. "It'll work." And before they knew it, the group of four werewolves were running throughout the woods, leading a path towards the school for Boyd and Cora to follow.

Isaac, Gwen and Scott all met up at the school, pulling the doors open and looking down the dark, but empty, hallway. Gwen could feel her nerves eating at her. There were many ways that this could end, she just hope it didn't end with them having to kill Boyd and Cora. Exchanging a look with each other, the three were quick to run away from the doors. Scott ran towards Argent as he placed the last emitter down whilst Isaac and Gwen just allowed themselves to hide.

"You alright?" Isaac asked the blonde.

"No." Gwen admitted, nodding her head as she swallowed thickly. "But, uh, I guess I have to be." The sound of a distant howl caused the two to snap their heads towards that direction. Gwen reached for Isaac's hand, and he was quick to give her hand a reassuring squeeze though he himself wasn't all that sure that the not killing part was going to happen. The two stood there for a few moments before the sounds of growls fell behind them.

"Oh, great." Isaac breathed before the duo slowly turned to find Boyd and Cora standing there. Allowing for their eyes to glow, the duo prepared to fight the two. But Argent was quick to pull up, honking his horn and grabbing their attention. Boyd and Cora snapped their heads towards the sound, snarling before running the other direction away from the car and Isaac and Gwen and ran towards the school.

"Oh, I think I just had a heart attack." Gwen placed a hand on her chest as she calmed her racing heart. Her head then snapped towards the school, a groan falling from her lips as she watched the two jump onto the roof of the ceiling. She shared a look with Isaac before the two quickly ran towards the others.
