Here we see a lovely couple walking around their town at night. The males name was kazumi And the girls name was satoko
But for the mean time we'll call them Johnny and Juliet. I mean....does he not look like a Johnny? Exactly.
Now, Johnny and Juliet were walking around their town, their hands intertwined. Even though there have been multiple disappearances of 16 year old girls around their town, they still thought it was a good idea to be outside at night. Why? We never really get an explanation

The next thing Johnny knew was that he was pushed to the ground while a sword with flames around it struck the ground. 'Wait.....a sword with flames around it?'

Tanjiro saw as a demon came out of a dark puddle and took a woman in under a second. Tanjiro assumed the male next to her was her beloved
Tanjiro wasted no time and ran to them, alerting the male and struck the ground where she was taken. 'The scent of the demon was strongest here. I can still save her!' Tanjiro thought as blocks of dirt flew in the air in slow motion

Tanjiro held his sword infront of him as the wind swayed, making his earrings move around as his haori moved with the wind. Kazumi looked at tanjiros back with wide eyes
'Destroy? Was he the one that took Satoko?' He thought. However, he stared in horror as a giant black puddle appeared out of the ground
Tanjiro gasped as he saw clothes. He immediately grabbed it and tried to pull it out of the puddle. However, the demon had a hand on the body and tried to bring her back.
Tanjiro won this little 'tug a war' and pulled the lady out of the demons grip and held her. "Satoko!" Kazumi yelled as he got up and stood behind Tanjiro
Tanjiro turned his head to him and connected the dots. "Oh! Here! Hold her while I kill that demon please!" Tanjiro yelled as he handed Satoko to kazumi. It took a moment but kazumi nodded and took her
Tanjiro faced forward and took a stance as he sniffed the air. Tanjiros eyes widened as he smelled an incoming attack from behind him
