When We Met ❤️

First Day First Job!

Day before the first day of work

Sanjana was unloading her luggages from the cab along with her parents and they entered a PG( Paying Guest Accomodation). Suddenly all 3 jerked and turned towards the direction where Sanjana's friends were squealing her name.
Sanjuuuuuu.... Screamed Santhiya, Saranya and Divya together.
Sanjana, Santhiya, Saranya and Divya were friends since college. They shared the same room in hostel during their college days and decided to stay together in Chennai during work as well since all 4 of them had been placed in the same company.

Sanjana : Girls, We got petrified, indicating her parents as well.
Santhiya: Sorry Aunty and Uncle. As we are meeting Sanju after 2 months, out of excitement we screamed. Please don't mistake us..
Sanjana's Mom : It's okay dear. But beware of the surroundings. If somebody else mistook you guys, that won't look good. And that too, it's a new place and you should behave well in your office as well.

All three girls nodded without any expression in their face.

Sanju looking at them, talked to her mom : Amma, it was just out of excitement, please don't behave like a warden Amma.
Sanjana's Dad : You are right Sanju.. Please don't make it as an issue and start advising them . They are not kids, they know well to behave infront of others. Since it's us, they just showed their excitement.

All 4 girls : Appa is always right... Thank you Appa.

Sanjana's Mom just glared at them and smiled at their childishness..

Sanju's Parents : Where are your parents dear ? (Addressing the three girls)

The girls told that their parents have dropped them in the morning itself after checking about the PG and talking with the PG in charge.

Sanjana's Parents along with the girls toured the PG and the room they would be staying. They inquired about the food, safety and the travel time to office. It was just 5 minutes away from their office by walk. The PG in charge assured that the girls would be properly taken care of and there wouldn't be any safety issues.

After having dinner with the girls which they bought from outside , Sanjana's parents were about to bid bye and neared the cab which was waiting for them to drop them at the railway station.

Sanjana's Mom : Eat well Sanju, Don't skip food and call us daily. If you are not able to manage here, please let us know. We will arrange alternatives. Please be careful and stay safe.

Sanjana's Dad : Amma and Appa will surely miss you , but remember we are always proud of you and believe in you.

Sanjana hugged both of them and her placed a long and tight kiss on their cheeks. Her dad caressed her hair and hugged her again. All her friends waved bye to her parents.

Sanjana was emotional as well as excited about her first day of work. With the mixed emotions , she went to sleep and dozed off quickly as she was extremely tired.

The next morning, she woke up early with a fresh vibe. After all these years of studies and Hardwork, everything is getting paid off with the new job. The feeling of being independent and responsible gave her goosebumps. With this energy, she got ready for her first day of work. All her friends were ready as well. They went to the kitchen in the PG for their breakfast. The food was average, but they couldn't expect much as it wasn't their home.

Before starting to office, Sanjana called her parents to check whether they have reached home and also to get blessings for her new beginning. She had a quick conversation with her parents and started to office along with her friends.

It was a 5 minute walk to their office and they reached the office. It was a 7 floor building and predominantly used for training freshers out of college. When they were about to enter the main gate and cross the security, Sanjana noticed a young man riding his Royal Enfield and entering the parking slot. Eventhough he couldn't get a clear picture of that person, the way he passed through with an utmost smart attitude gave her an unknown smile🥰🥰🥰. As she was smiling in her own world, It was Santhiya who helped her getting back to reality. The girls were already notified with the domain and floor number through Email. Sanjana and Santhiya were designated to Mainframe batch whereas Saranya and Divya were allocated to DotNet batch. So the girls bid bye and moved to their respective rooms. They met few other freshers from different colleges of the state. They were assigned with a trainer as well. Since it was their first day, they were just knowing the procedures and completing the formalities.

Let's see what's awaiting for Sanjana in her coming days of work. Will she again get a chance of that RE Man.. Let's wait and watch.
