Sanjana's fear became true yet another time, as she got placed in a project rooted in Chennai against her location of preference... But the worst part was she was into night shift and the project was a secure one, meaning she wasn't supposed to access any mode of communication including personal email and phone.

"Hell with my luck" cursed Sanjana mentally when she had to go through days without cranking to Varun. It was just a textual communication between them. While she was working, he was in his deep slumber and while he was up and into work, she was tired as a sloth and kept sleeping... This had been their routine for the weekdays, they could only had a glimpse of each other through video calls during weekends..

As days kept moving, their interaction reached a lower limit... They couldn't spend time for each other due to one or the other reason, but the only thing that kept them moving was their Love... They loved each other unconditionally, so that there were no jealousy, no complaints or no trust issues..

But that's wasn't all, they wanted to spend time together, this wouldn't help them in the longer run... So she decided to agree for the team outing to Ooty hoping that she would atleast get to talk to him for more.. If she had opted to stay back from the trip, then she would have to be at work. So decided to go with the former plan...

But Varun was nowhere to be seen, he dint attend her calls even after trying infinite times, so she started dropping texts...

Why aren't you picking up my calls ?

Are you doing okay ? Odambu sari illaya ? Atleast reply to my messages...

She thought of calling him before she headed to home in Tuesday morning... The whole Monday daytime she couldn't reach him, hoping that there would be some messages or calls, she turned on the mobile only to be disappointed...

Sanjana : Did varun talk to you ma ?

Varuns Mom : Yeah ma... He did... Why ? What happened ma?

Sanjana : When did you speak to him for the last time ?

Varuns Mom : He called me yesterday night ma...

Sanjana : Oh.... (Her voice became feeble as her eyes were welled up)

Sanjana: No ma... I have been calling varun since yesterday, but all my calls and messages were left unanswered...

Varuns Mom : Illa ma... He had some project meeting it seems, he forgot to charge his mobile... That's why he had called and informed me from his friends mobile... He told me to pass the message to you as well... But unakku office la restrictions irunthathala, I couldn't reach you immediately... Sorry ma...

Varuns Mom : Okay ma... He is safe and sound... Don't  worry much.... Night shift poitu vanthu tired ah iruppa... You take rest... He will call you once he is finished with the meetings...

She reached PG and slept for sometime to refresh her mind state. Once she was up, she began packing for the trip. Though she was angry with him, she couldn't hold it for longer. Okay, what if he was genuinely unable to reach her? She decided to inform him atleast through texts so that he would know when he could access his mobile...

Hi Varun... Hope you are doing good... I had called you to tell about my team outing tomorrow. I would be starting to ooty on Tuesday night and the trip would last for 3 days. I will be back to chennai on Friday night. I decided to go for this trip keeping in mind that I could spend time with you atleast virtually for all those 5 days. Please call me back as soon as you see this.. I am missing you more than ever... Love you sooo soooo much...

She felt a void in her life for the very first time. She read and re read the message for countless times before dozing off unknowingly....
