- eight: e-world, pt. 2 -

With a subtle atmosphere between them, Hanna and Taehyung continued walking to the cable car station.

When the two of them boarded the cable car with the bouquet, they were just in time for sunset. The scenery of E-WORLD gradually changed as the sun set. Lights of many different colours started lighting up, turning the whole theme park into a colourful ocean of stars.

"Wow, this is so beautiful." Hanna gasped, awed by the breathtaking view below her.

"You're... You're right." Taehyung stammered, glad that he didn't let the words "you're more beautiful in my eyes" slip out of his mouth.

When Hanna and Taehyung arrived at the revolving restaurant in 83 Tower, Sunhee and Jaemyung were already sitting at a table for four near the window.

"Hehe, you two are back from a date?" Sunhee teased Hanna when she saw her holding a bouquet.

"Stop it, you know we're not dating." Hanna grumbled with faint blushes on her cheeks, and slightly elbowed Sunhee.

The good thing about sitting by the window was that they could enjoy the spectacular night view of Daegu from different directions while dining, creating a somewhat romantic atmosphere. Soon the food they ordered arrived, and the four of them started eating while sharing what they did in the afternoon.

"We first went to ride the merry-go-round," Sunhee said with excitement in her voice, "Then we fed some really cute sheep at ZooZoo Farm, and took a lot of pictures around E-WORLD before coming here for dinner. We had a lot of fun!"

"Yeah, we did." Jaemyung echoed, eyes glowing with love as he looked at Sunhee attentively. The more I look at them, the more I feel that they're a perfect match, Hanna thought to herself, lips curving up into a smile.

"What about you and Taehyung? What did you two do?" Sunhee asked, unaware of the little smile on Hanna's face.

"Me and Taehyung? Well... we basically rode all the roller coasters in E-WORLD." Hanna giggled.

"It was really fun!" Taehyung added.

"What?" Sunhee looked at Hanna and Taehyung in disbelief, "You've got to be kidding me. Roller coasters are so scary, how could it be fun? You two must be crazy."

"At least we're crazy yet happy together," Hanna shrugged and gave Taehyung a smirk, "Now I finally understand why Taehyung likes roller coasters so much."

Time flies when you're having fun, and soon it was time for the four of them to go home. Hanna sat by the window on the bus going home, with Taehyung by her side.

After spending a whole day at E-WORLD, Hanna was already exhausted. She felt her eyelids getting heavier and heavier as the bus travelled, and eventually dozed off without realizing it. Her body swayed from side to side, and eventually landed her head on Taehyung's shoulder, making Taehyung's heart skip a beat.

Seeing Hanna loosen her grip and the bouquet that was about to fall, Taehyung quickly reached out and grabbed it, holding his breath throughout the process as he was worried that Hanna would be woken up by large movements or noises. And when Taehyung looked up, he was surprised to find that Sunhee and Jaemyung, who were sitting in front of Hanna and him, were also sleeping soundly while leaning on each other.

The more I look at her, the cuter she seems to be, Taehyung thought to himself as he silently gazed at Hanna's sleeping face reflected in the bus window. Her eyes are cute. Her eyelashes are cute. Her nose is cute. Her lips are cute. Everything about her is cute, even her sleeping face. How strange, it seems like... it's the first time I feel my heart pounding for a girl. Is this... love?

With his eyes fixed on Hanna's baby fat cheeks, Taehyung couldn't help but lightly poke her cheeks with his index finger. How squishy.

As if sensing something, Hanna, who had been sound asleep while leaning against Taehyung's shoulders, suddenly rubbed her nose, which startled Taehyung. Taken aback, Taehyung immediately retracted his hands, acting like nothing happened. Fortunately, Hanna was not awakened but continued wandering in dreamland, and Taehyung heaved a sigh of relief.

"You're so adorable." Taehyung whispered in an almost inaudible voice, and the only reply was Hanna's "Zzz... Zzz..."
