X : The Engagement

"Chat Noir?" She said quietly

"W-who? I-I don't know him!" He said obviously stuttering on his words

"S-sorry Prince Adrien, you just reminded me of someone I know"

"That was too close for comfort" He thought to himself

The music stopped and the two bowed at each other

"May I expect to meet you at the top of the stairs in about 30 minutes?"

"What's the occasion?"

"I-I um..."

She patted him on the shoulder "Don't get so nervous, I'll be there!"

He sighed in relief and bowed once more before excusing himself to go find Luna

He saw her leaning against a wall

"Lady Luna?" He started

"Your planning to tell her tonight right?" She asked holding a glass of punch

"Do you think she'll accept it?"

She gripped her cup tightly "Let's just hope for the best, for your future's sake"

~Meanwhile~

Marinette walked around trying to find her friends until someone comes and hugs her from behind

"Marinette you made us worry so much about you! You can't just waltz into castles and expect us not to search the whole village to find you!" Alya said

She turned around and scratched her neck "I'm really sorry Alya, things just happened so quickly I didn't have time to inform you guys"

"As long as your okay that's all that really matters"

Rose who was beside Juleka ran over to Marinette and hugged her "You and Prince Adrien were so cute dancing together! Your dress is also so pretty! But speaking of Prince Adrien do you like him?"

"I-I"

"Look at her she looks nervous!" Zoe teased

"Am not!"

Rose continued "Isn't it lovely that this castle that appeared out of nowhere decided to hold a ball and invite all of us? There are so many kind people here and dancing was so much fun!"

"Dancing? Honestly the best thing about this was the free food, that turkey and gravy was the best thing I have ever had!" Alix said

"Do you think they'll allow us to bring some back?" Alya asked

"I'LL GET THE BAGS-" Alix said before rushing off

"Marinette you have to tell us everything that happened when you disappeared!" Alya said

"Well long story short a castle maiden named Luna brought me to this castle so I could train to control my powers to help revive the Kingdom of Moon"

"So the Kingdom of Sun AND Moon do exist? I am totally writing this down!"

"Is your power the one you used to heal me?" Zoe asked placing her finger on her chin

"I-it was"

"Then I'm glad your using your power for the better of that kingdom!" She responded cheerfully

"Marinette do you not realize how privileged and blessed you are? Not a lot of people have that kind of magic, come to think of it only royals could have that kind of magic..." Alya said
