XIII : The Bug and her Cat

It's been three days since Marinette stepped foot out of her room, even after the talk she had with Chat Noir she didn't open up to the idea of forgiving Adrien and Luna just yet

"Ladybug, you have to help, it's chaos over here!"

The letter from the bird said

But I guess she's forced to go out

"T-Tikki...Are you ready?" Marinette asked wiping away her tears

"You look terrible Marinette, the bags under your eyes have only increased and it's only been a week. You can't keep on living like this!" Tikki replied

"C-Chat Noir"

"Chat Noir?"

"He's someone who has always been truthful to me, he was always there for him. I want to be there for him, please?"

Tikki bit her lip and silently nodded "Okay, you can go. Just don't hurt yourself okay?"

"You know I'm stronger than I look!"

She smiled

"Ready at your words Marinette"

"Tikki spots on!"

The problem at the village seemed to only been somewhat minor, two people were fighting because of a debt and it turned into a huge fight since other people opposed the person which had many debts. Luckily it's being settled now leaving the two heroes to their free time

They jumped unto the roof the church and sat down admiring the view infront of them

"Hey um Ladybug..." Chat Noir said quietly

"Anything the matter Chat?" She answered fidgeting with a rock that was beside her

"You look like you have a lot on your mind, wanna.....talk about it?"

"If I could I would, but my identity might be revealed if I say anything about myself"

"Are you perhaps an important person in the village?"

"Me? An important person?"

Pfft, never

"Nahh! I'm just a simple girl, and you?"

"If you don't wanna say anything yourself then it won't be fair if I say anything about myself"

"Mm well....I had a fight with one of my family members, I haven't talked to her in a week, and the fight included my friend or atleast I think is my friend"

"What was the fight about?"

"It...It made me doubt my trust for them"

"How so?"

"They lied to me...How could I not be mad at them?"

"I guess so...Have you tried talking to them after that incident?"

She shook her head "I've just isolated myself from them, I haven't talked to anyone since nor left my room"

"Wait a minute...If you haven't left your room yet then does it mean you haven't eaten in a week!?"

"The people I live with leaves food at my door, I thank them but that's it. I haven't really had a conversation with anyone"

Chat Noir placed his hand on her cheek "M'lady, your beautiful eyes are losing their color. It hurts to see you hurt, if you need anyone to listen to you just know I'm here okay?"

She hugged him "T-thanks Chat your the best"

"Anytime m'lady..."

They held the embraced but laid down on a smooth surface

"How about you Chat?"

He hummed in response

"Anything happening in your life?"

"What kind?"

"Something that's been keeping you up every night"

"Something that keeps me up every night?"

"Please stay strong! You'll survive I promise!"

"Adrien...You don't have to waste your magic on me, it's better used for the kingdom. And plus using this much magic will drain you..."

"I don't care! I don't care if it drains me! I'll do anything to save you! Please just let me...

I can't lose you........"

At the thought of what had happened he started to tear up and sat up

"Chat!? Chat what's wrong?" Ladybug asked worriedly and sprung up shaking his shoulders but still he kept his head low as more tears just kept falling

"Chat please talk to me...I'm here for you"

He hugged her tightly "I don't want to lose her Ladybug!"

"Who's she?"

"M-mom..."

Her eyes widened and she deepened the hug "I'm so sorry to hear that Chat, I know we can't disclose much of our personal information but please don't keep this to yourself...I...I may not be a healer but" She bit her lip

I want to heal her for him

"I....."

I never want to see him cry

"I..."

I never want to see him suffer

"I'll do whatever it takes to make you happy"

"L-ladybug..."

"Shhh you don't need to say more, we can just embrace each other in silence"

"C-can we stay like...this....for a while?"

"We can stay like this for as long as you want too kitty"

"T-thank you for being the light in my darkness m'lady"
