Mary Wheeler has been on the run since she was 13. After being taken and tortured for being a witch, she's constantly looking over her shoulder no matter where she goes. When she ends up in Whitechapel, she doesn't expect to make any friends, nor would she want to. However, when she meets Benny Weir, she feels a connection she can't deny.
Benny Weir is a girl crazy nerd who doesn't like talking about his emotions. However, when he starts having a nightmare that doesn't sit right with him, he knows it's time to open up and face the monster in his head. Especially when he meets Mary, he feels a need that he can't describe.

I know normally mbav fan fictions start with the movie, but with the idea that I had it fits better starting after the cheerleader episode in season 1. In my version, i also made it as if it was based in the US, specifically Massachusetts, instead of Canada like it was in the show. This is only because it's easier for me and it fits better with Mary's backstory.
