Arlo POV: Arlo was worried. Very very worried. Currently, Al was trying to kill him as revenge for crippling Sal.
The chemist named Walter who created the ability disabler serum-based it off of his own ability. Which allowed him to disable people's abilities and render them, cripples. For some unknown reason, Sal stole a serum from the lab and disabled Billy's ability for good. After that, Al walked in on Arlo disabling Sal with a serum Sal would have used on him.
Al screamed at Arlo "ARLO YOU TRAITOR B@$TARD WHY DID WE EVER TRUST YOU!!!!!!!!!"
He lunged at Arlo and Arlo blocked his strike. Arlo yelled at him "IT WAS SAL! LOOK AT BILLY ON THE FLOOR, HE'S COVERED IN ACID BY HIM." Al landed a solid punch when Arlo was yelling. His passive took a bulk of the blow but he was still dazed from the hit. "THAT PROVES NOTHING!" yelled Al
Arlo yelled at him again "The f**k you mean, LOOK AT HIM! BILLY WHO ATTACKED YOU"
Billy looked up at Al, he was a bloody heap and wounded beyond belief. The once proud and strong mobster looked at his friend "Al...... he's right. It was Sal........."
Al punched Arlo again (just cuz he could) and screamed and ran over to Sal and kicked him. Only to be stabbed in the shoulder with an ability disabler serum. Walter struck again.
Al collapsed to the ground and Arlo looked at Walter helping Sal stand up. Sal spoke first "Look kid, I'm sure you're wondering why I betrayed my crew. The truth of the matter is that Walter promised me a hefty sum if he could try out his new ability disablers on some subjects. Because these ones don't just remove your ability, they remove your aura entirely. Making you die in excruciating pain while you are crippled."
Arlo gulped. Getting hit by that Serum was a death sentence. "Why......" asked Arlo
Sal smiled at Arlo "Son. I think you forget that I'm a criminal. A bank robber. I'm SUPPOSED TO be a bad person. I have no morals kid, I just chase money. And Walter offered me enough to live as a King."
Arlo smirked at hearing this "But didn't I hit you with one of those a few moments ago?"
Sal shrugged "Well there must be an antidote right Walter?"
Walter shook his head no. Sal began to panic "Wait what?! SO ALL THAT WAS A WASTE"
Walter looked at Sal and ran his fingers through his hair "This is for killing my family you b!tch"
He collapsed in shock of what Walter said and Walter approached Arlo "Get outta here kid" he growled menacingly "I have personal business with these criminals and I don't want to hurt someone so young." Arlo nodded upon hearing this and left the room and closed the door as Walter reached for the large knife he had on the table
Arlo heard some screams and zaps upstairs,
It must be Remi! I gotta get there quick and make sure everything is under control.
Arlo rushed up the stairs towards his friends in the board room.
Meanwhile:
Seraphina POV:
Sera was nervous, her sister just approached her and she was dressed fancy which meant...... she was in the board room...... which meant she was in some position of power.
Leliah spoke up "Well Sera, care to introduce me to these fine young men?"
