As I predicted, Jaleya completely ignored me the next day. O baka sinisimulan na niya akong kalimutan. My eyes felt heavy because of my relentless crying from last night. Kaya ito ako at nakasuot ng eyeglasses to hide it. I've sent her a lot of messages at nakailang tawag ako sakanya magdamag pero wala. Hinanap ko pa man din siya buong maghapon dito sa campus pero mukhang tinataguan niya ako ng malala. My heart aches upon the thought of her hating me this much to the extent that she doesn't even want to see me.

What do I expect? I reluctantly pushed her away twice in a row, because I was left with no choice. Gusto ko mang mainis sakanya dahil hindi manlang niya ako sinubukang intindihin pero I have no right. Because it's obviously my fault. I was only thinking for myself.

"Anong nangyari?", Khloe asked while we were heading to our office. It's already 5 in the afternoon at nagpatawag ng biglaang meeting si Alana.

"Ha?", nagpatay-malisya ako kahit alam kong hindi din naman ako makakaligtas sa kanya.

"Did you seriously think na maitatago mo yang maga ng mata mo with that glasses?", inis na sabi ulit nito. "Eh di sana nag-shades ka nalang!"

I sighed in frustration. "Hindi ako pinapansin ni Jaleya."

Naramdaman ko ang paglingon nito saakin. "Bakit? Anong nangyari?"

"Long story short, I pushed her away and I did not go after her."

"Boba ka ba? Ginawa mo 'yon, tapos iiyak iyakan mo siya? Sarap mong hambalusin din sa eyeball eh 'no?"

That slapped me hard. But it's the truth. Who's stupid enough not to think things through before doing so and end up regretting at the end where there's no chance of turning back? Syempre, ako.

"I don't know what to do, Khlo.", napayuko ako. "I don't want to lose her. Alam mong siya palang ang taong pinagugulan ko ng feelings and I know that this couldn't possibly be erased just like that. She means so much to me.", I paused and looked at her. "She means everything to me."

Inakbayan ako ni Khloe na medyo napatingkayad pa dahil mas matangkad ako sakanya. "Alam mo, Reese. While it's true that we have no clue of how the next days will be, the good thing about it is that we have a lot of time to try and make it a little much better than yesterday.", tinapik nito ang balikat ko. "Kung talagang mahal mo, habulin mo kahit hindi ka aso."

Pagpasok palang namin sa office ay sinalubong na kami agad ng mga mata ng mga kasama namin na sa ngayon ay nakapalibot sa center table.

"Ano? Ngayon lang nakakita ng maganda?", nakapamewang na sabi ni Khloe sakanila. Dumerecho lang ako at umupo sa tabi ni Elizer.

"Anong meron?", bulong ko sakanya pero bago pa man ito makasagot ay nagsalita si Alana.

"We will need to host another screening for Sirmata.", malungkot ang tono niya. Kumunot ang noo ko when she popped the news.
