Chapter 23

Ramin's POV
I got my phone (which played the music for the previous chapter) and stuff and headed out the door. For some strange reason, I felt like someone was watching me. Weird.
Katie's POV
I suddenly saw Ramin leaving. I just wanted to yell at him "Don't go!", but something was stopping me. Then I noticed that he left his scarf on top of the piano we're going to use. He probably didn't notice it. I finally walked out of the shadows. I got his scarf and held it tightly to my chest. I inhaled the scent. His cologne was hypnotizing. More tears came. What have I done? Sierra was right. I've never seen Ramin any happier until he met me. I let him out of my reach. I can't survive without him. Now, it's too late. I lost him. He was-NO! He is my everything. My other half, my missing piece, my amazing boyfriend. My brain's in control. Time for a change. Let my heart sing!

I decided to do the same thing as Ramin. I played the music and braced for the incoming wave of pain as I remembered all the memories of Ramin and I. The good and the bad. I started to open my mouth and sing.

Ramin's POV (in that same time)
I had a feeling that I left something. Then I noticed my reflection and saw that I left my scarf. I ran back and I heard music. I saw Katie on top of the stage. My Katie was singing. Her voice still rang in my ears. A few tears ran down my face.

Katie's POV
The music finished and saw Ramin. My heart quickened it's pace. I wiped away the tears and held out his scarf. "You forgot this." I tried saying without sniffling. He walked to me without breaking eye contact. He got so near to me that I felt his breathe on my skin. Ramin got his scarf and set it aside. He cupped my face in his hands and finally did what I yearned for. A kiss. The one's that I truly missed. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he picked me up and twirled me around bridal style. We broke away for air as he set me down. "I missed this." I said and he smiled. "Me too." Ramin replied. Then his smiled disappeared. "Katie, I'm so sor-" "Ssh. No need to apologize." I cut him off and kissed him again. We pulled away a few seconds later. "So, do you want to give 'us' another shot?" He asked. I nodded. "Absolutely." Then Ramin got down on one knee and, surprisingly, still had the ring. "I never let go of it." He said. "Katie, I promise this time I won't screw up. If I do again, I give you permission to beat the hell out of me. I promise to, once again, love you until the ends of the Earth." He told and I held out my finger for him to slip on the ring. We hugged for a few seconds.

*BACK AT HOME*
I rode in Ramin's car back home. We got out, holding hand in hand. I opened the door and we saw Sierra. She squealed as she saw us. Then she engulfed me in a hug. "So you two are back together?!" She asked. We nodded. Then Sierra let go of me. "I hope you've learned your lesson Mr. Karimloo." She told Ramin. I giggled. "I'm guessing you're gonna tell everyone then we'll have to switch furniture again, yeh?" I asked. "Yep!" Ramin replied. I felt like my life was complete again. Ramin and I are back together. Not even Jessica can stop us now. That b***h will learn her lesson in messing with me.
