Chapter 36~ With You Here, I Am Happy.

NO ONE POV
Tommy walked around the small church, wondering where his husband had taken off to.

"Hey Neil, have you seen Adam?" Tommy asked as he looked around, Neil shook his head.

"Not since he shouted cake"

Tommy sighed, going outside and around the back.
That's when he heard Zoe's voice scream, he quickly ran to where the carpark was and that's when he saw Noah facing a gun at Adam...Tommy did what any loving partner would do. He ran towards them.

It felt like the world had turned into slow motion as Tommy ran towards Adam, he pushed Adam out of the way as soon as the trigger was pulled, Tommy stopped and put his hand over his chest quickly...

"Tommy!" Zoe screamed as he moved his hand, blood had poured out from his chest and down his shirt.

Tommy fell to his knees as Noah watched, in amazement. He didn't mean to shoot him, the bullet was meant for Adam, not Tommy.

Adam ran to Tommy's side as he fell. Tears poured from Adam's eyes as he looked down at his newly wedded husband.

"I just wanted this to be a day to remember" Tommy cried. "I didn't mean like this"

"You'll make it, I promise baby" Adam cried. He looked up at Noah with hate in his eyes. "Why?" He screamed. "Why him?" Adam's eyes went to Zoe's who was on the phone.
He saw Neil and Eber come running towards him, Noah ran but Neil chased after him.
How could this simply happen? Why would Zoe bring Noah here and let this happen?

Adam paced the hospital halls for what seemed like an enternity. He was worried sick about Tommy. He didn't want this to happen. He didn't want any of this to happen.

"Adam!" Zoe yelled out, Adam turned around to see her jogging up to him.

"This is all your fault" Adam suddenly spoke. Zoe stopped suddenly.  "He is in their because of you. Stay away from me" Tears fell from Zoe's cheeks.

"Adam, I didn't mean for this to happen"

"Why did you even come to the fucking church?" He shouted, people stared. Neil and Eber weren't there yet.

"I wanted to see you"

"Now look what has happened! My husband has been shot!"

"It's not my fault" She shouts back.

"You were the one that left and came back with Noah! Don't say it isn't your fault! You have no idea how shitty you have been treating us all lately. Just go." He says. He didn't want to be like this but he was stressed out and angry.

"You want me gone? Fine! I will fucking leave." Zoe shouts, Neil quickly runs over to Adam and Zoe.

"Guys, arguing is going to solve nothing" He says sternly, Zoe scoffs and storms away, Eber follows her.

"You are not involved, Neil" Adam says harshly.

"You both can't do this to each other."

"Tommy is in there because of her!" Adam shouts, getting angry. He faces Neil.

"This is not her fault." Adam pushes Neil, causing him to stumble a little.

"Fuck off" Adam shouts.

"You are not the only one effected by this! Stop making it about you!" This time, Adam threw a punch at Neil.

Neil didn't want to hurt Adam, he quickly grabbed Adam and threw him to the ground, restraining him.

"Let me go!" Adam screamed loudly, Zoe and Eber ran over, Eber helped Neil to try and control Adam. I kicked to try and get them off him, a few doctors helped but Adam wouldn't calm down. One doctor ran over with a needle and put it into Adam's arm, he settled down.

"We will take him to a bed, he'll be out for a few hours." One doctor spoke. Neil and Eber let them take Adam.

"Is he okay?" Zoe asked Neil as he sat down, placing his head in his hands.

"He will be fine. Today was supposed to be an amazing day for them both" Neil replies.

"I didn't know Noah was going to shoot him, I swear" She protests.

"Zoe, Adam didn't mean to say what he said. You know that" Eber spoke softly.

"I know he meant it, he doesn't want me anymore"

ADAM
I woke up on a hospital bed, what the hell? Tommy! Where's Tommy.
I saw Dad walk in with Neil.

"Is Tommy okay?" I say in a panic. 

"He's fine. He's resting at the moment, they got the bullet out successfully." Dad spoke. I sighed in relieve. He's going to be fine. He is going to be fine. I look up at Neil and see he had a black eye..

"Sorry about your eye" I say softly as I swing my legs off the bed.

"Don't bother saying sorry to me, you need to apologise to Zoe. This wasn't her fault."

"If she didn't come to the church, Noah wouldn't of shot Tommy."

"Adam" Dad said. "She didn't know Noah was going to shoot you, she didn't know Tommy was going to push you away. None of this was her fault."

"Besides, Noah is arrested. He's going straight to prison." Neil explained.

"Zoe hasn't left Tommy's side." Dad spoke. "She had to leave once to get questioned."
I stayed silent for a moment.

"I want to see Tommy"

Dad and Neil showed me where Tommy's room was. I opened the door and saw Zoe asleep on the small chair, holding onto Tommy's hand.. I smiled softly.

I watched as Tommy's chest fell up and down softly.. He is my whole world and if I lost him just as we made if offical, I don't know what I would do, I would be lost, he picked my broken pieces up and put them back togther.

I picked Zoe up and put her on the couch in the same room.

"Hayley and Monte will be here soon" Neil spoke as I put a blanket over Zoe. I didn't reply to Neil, I sat next to Tommy, holding his hand.

His eyes opened slowly.

"Adam?" He whispered. I smiled.

"Hey glitterbaby" Tommy opened his eyes and sat up a little bit. Neil and Dad walked out.
I kissed Tommy softly.

"I missed you earlier" Tommy spoke once I pulled away.

"I was sedated. I kinda lost control earlier." I chuckled slightly.

"I heard. You gave Neil something to remember" He laughed but groaned.

"I'm sorry this happened"

"Adam, don't be sorry. We are still together and that is all that matters."

"You're in hospital, TJ, this isn't how I wanted to spend our honeymoon"

"I know baby, but we still get to spend it with each other. I love you so much."
