sapnap and george had gone to play on the playground near the skatepark, leaving eden and clay to their own devices.
"wanna try?" clay offered his board to eden, who was still sitting where george previously was.
"clay im shit at balancing." eden really didnt want to fall over, she didn't want to deal with the embarrassment.
"its fine ill help you, here." he placed the board down, offering a hand to eden to help her up from the floor.
"okay" eden didnt want to say no to him, he looked like an excited puppy.
eden stood up, still holding onto clays hand as he pulled her towards the board. she placed one foot on the board and it immediately wobbled, her grip on clay getting tighter.
"its okay i got you, ill put my foot here so it doesn't roll okay?" his face was soft as he looked down at eden, who seemed unsure still.
as eden placed her foot back on with a bit more reassurance, she moved her hands to hold clays arms for more balance.
and once her second foot was on, her confidence went up, her back straightening up.
"there you go, okay here ill push you slowly." his hands moved to her waist lightly as he began to walk along side her. edens breathing slowed as she rolled across the flat pavement.
"holy shit." a laugh escaped her mouth as they turned around, returning back to their starting position.
