after she left california for new york only days after arriving in america, eden assumed she'd always live in the big apple. she had her boyfriend there, her best friend there, and that was all she needed.

but the time had come, the time to move on. over the past three days of living under her old apartment roof, eden had done a lot of thinking. only a few months ago she would've convinced herself that the time spent here in manhattan was the best times of her life. she had written her first ep here, her twitch grew tremendously as well as her music. eden had it all in the palm of her hands, she was on top of the world she had created for herself.

although inside that bright, wonderful world contained things eden tried her best to convince herself that was normal, was part of having a career in music, or having a boyfriend. and for a while, she truly felt that it was okay. carter hayward told her that it was okay.

eden harrison didn't know any different. that was until someone she had known for years, much longer than anyone else she lived with, came back into her life. his piercing green eyes and smug smile broke edens haze on the life she was living for someone else.

clay had shown vanessa harrison pure happiness. some would say perhaps they moved onto dating too quickly, maybe they should've waited it out. but eden would argue back, saying the past 7 months just talking with clay gave her more euphoria than she had ever felt in new york. and that was all that mattered to her.

besides, her three best friends, one being her boyfriend, lived in florida. that was all she needed.
