CHAPTER TWENTY-SIX

OCTOBER 22, 1993

LILITH WAS CURRENTLY IN HER flat looking at the Peter Pettigrew case. She looks up when she hears hades bark. She gets up and walks to the door. She opens it and sees James there with two cups of coffee. She smiles.

"Brought you your coffee." He hands it to her. "Come in." Lilith moves out of the way to give James some room to come in. "Did you find anything?" He asks referring to the Pettigrew case. "Not yet."

James and Lilith had been hanging out a lot. He was almost always at her flat. They were either working on the case or were just hanging out as friends. Over time their feelings for eachother grew and grew.

They walk into her kitchen to look for more clues. "Why do you have the daily prophet from a few months ago on you fridge?" James asks when he sees it. Lilith walks towards him to see the picture."Oh the Weasleys were on the cover, and they just look so cute-" Lilith pauses for a moment. "Holy shit. James." Lilith says. "What is it?" He asks. "Scabbers." She says. " What the hell is a scabbers." James asks. "It's Ron's rat." Lilith tells him hoping he would catch on. "Why do you care about Ron's rat?" He asks still clueless. "You are such an idiot." She sighs and walks towards one of her cabinets where she keeps all her pictures of her hogwarts years.

She takes one out that has ron with his rat on his shoulder. "Look at the rat." She says handing James the picture. "What is so impor- Wait." He answers his own question. She puts up the photos while James stands their in shock. "You are absolutely amazing." James looks at her. They make eye contact and James wasn't even thinking when he walked up to her, grabbed her by the neck and pulled her into a kiss.

Lilith was shocked but kisses back. James pulls away from the kiss. "I'm sorry, I should'v-" James was interrupted by Lilith kissing him again. He kisses back and grabs her waist to pull her closer to him.

He runs his tongue across her bottom lip, asking for entrance, and Lilith allows him. His tongue explores her mouth as Lilith runs her hands through his hair. She moans softly into his mouth when she feels him start to explore her body with his hands. He lightly taps the back of her thigh, signaling he wants her to jump. He catches her and wraps her legs around his waist. He walks out of the  kitchen and towards the couch. He places her down and her hands start to explore his body aswell. James pulls away slowly. "You definitely deserve something for figuring out something that big. What do you want?" He says softly. She looks at him and whispers, "You." James kisses her. "I want you, James." Lilith murmurs onto his lips. James nods.

She starts to fiddle with the buttons on James' shirt. She then starts to unbutton them. James was fiddling with the hem of her shirt before pulling it off her body. Lilith takes off James' shirt and throws it somewhere. She starts to unbuckle his belt and pulls it off his pants. She drops it on the ground next to her and unbuttons James pants. She lets out a breathy moan when she feels James sucking on her neck. She pulls down the zipper of his pants and her hand brushes over James' hard-on. He lets out a content sigh and continues to kiss Lilith's neck. All that Lilith was left wearing was her bra and underwear. She feels James fiddle with her bra.

"Are you sure?" He pulls away from her. She nods and tries to pull him in but he refuses. "I need a verbal confirmation, Lilith." He says. "Yes, James. I'm sure." Lilith whispers. He kisses her and unclips her bra.

Lilith lets out a sigh when she feels the cold air touch her nipples. James slowly starts to pull down her underwear. When their completely off James looks at Lilith and admires her. She starts to feel self conscious and covers up her body. James pulls her arms away. "Hey, you're beautiful. Don't cover yourself up." He kisses her neck and starts to leave open mouth kisses all the way down to her breast. "James." She moans softly. He takes one her breasts into his mouth and starts kneading the other with his hands. Lilith starts to breath heavier as she holds in her moans. James pulls away with a pop and gives the other breast the same attention. He pulls away and leaves a trail of kisses as he goes down. He opens her legs and kisses the inside of her thighs. "James." Lilith whimpers. "I'm going to make you feel so good." James whispers to her.

JAMES COLLAPSES ON TOP OF LILITH'S body. His head rested on her chest and Lilith played with his hair. They were both glistening with sweat and were out of breath. James lifts his head up from her chest and looks at her. She smiles tiredly at him and kisses him. "We should work on the case. Now that we know where he's at we just have to figure out a plan." Lilith whispers to him as she runs her hands through his hair. "Should we get up now?" James murmurs into her neck. "Mmm. Five more minutes." Lilith whispers.

THEY WERE IN THE KITCHEN discussing a plan. Lilith was wearing James' shirt and eating a bowl of cereal.

"I could get Remus to help us. He took the job as the Defense Professor." James suggest. "I could also send a letter to Harry and Isa. Telling them to meet me in Hogsmeade. They would invite Ron and Hermione. And Ron's going to take his rat, since hermione got a cat this summer. I can hold the rat, he likes me for some reason, which is absolutely disgusting. I'll put him in my pocket and tell Ron I'll take care of him for the week, He wrote to me all worried because his rat wasn't eating." Lilith rambles before putting a spoonful of cereal in her mouth. "So in other words your going to kidnap Peter?" James says. She nods. She offers him some cereal by holding up a spoonful. He sighs before eating it.

"It's going to work. Ron would trust me with Scabber- Pettigrew. Wait- the man's name is Peter?" She asks. "Yeah, why?" James asks. "The Mara- Oh my god, his name sounded familiar. Ron had been sleeping with a boy named peter. We just assumed he was really close with his one of his dormates but it was his rat!" Lilith says with wide eyes. "Darling, what are you talking about?" James asks.

"Ok. So there was this map. It literally showed everyone. Like where they were, what they were doing, like every single moment of the day. And me and my friends- well I found it but showed it to them. We saw Ron sleeping in the same bed with a boy. We thought he was gay. Turns out it was just the rat. Oh thank merlin I don't have to pay Silas 20 galleons." Lilith whispers the last part to herself.

"The Marauders Map? You found it?" James asks. "Yea- wait I never told you the name of it. Is there something you need to tell me, James?" Lilith looks at James. "Um, because Harry and Bella told me." He laughs. "They don't know about the map." Lilith raises her eyebrow. "James Potter. A trouble-maker? I didn't know that about you Jam-" Lilith is cut off by James who had pressed his lips onto hers. Lilith pulls away. "You can't shut me up James. That's not going to wor-" She is cut off again.

She melts into to kiss and lets out a sigh. "Maybe it will work." She mumbles into his lips. He pulls away and laughs at her. "Tell me how you know about the map." Lilith whines. "Wait if you know about the map... do you know who made it?" She asks. "Maybe" Lilith gasps. "Who? If you can't tell me how you know about it, atleast tell me who made the map." Lilith leans forward waiting for his answer. "Well if I tell you, both of your questions will be answered." James says. Lilith furrows her eyebrows in concentration. She suddenly gasps. "No! You didn't. Really?" She asks excitedly. James just nods. "Oh my god. One of the creators of the best thing in the world just fucked me." Lilith sits there dumb-struck. "Oh I am definitely going to brag to Thomas about this."
