#HRGChapter20

Oh, ang lamig.

Naalimpungatan ako dahil sa lamig. I slightly moved my head up to look at the surroundings. Aside from the light of the yacht, it's still dark around. Then, I looked at Sav.

I slowly shared the comforter with him. Inayos ko ng maigi to ensure na masasakop ang buong katawan niya then afterwards, I fell back to sleep.

I flinched when I felt something moved.

I slowly opened my eyes and a second later frowned. The way I moved away from him seems like an electric shocked me.

Napapikit ako ng mariin as I felt my face flushed.

I heard Sav cleared his throat. Then, I opened my eyes.

"Sorry" sabay naming sabi. Instead of laughing, we both feel embarrassed.

I mean, yes, we're best friends, but we've never been that close since we reached puberty. We do hug sometimes yes but after he had a girlfriend, we just naturally stopped.

Wala namang malisya 'to. Av, c'mon, he's your bestfriend. Why are you acting like you're in front of your cru...sh?

I sighed deeply and looked at him. Mahina akong tumawa at ngumiti sa kaniya.

"I'm sorry. I woke up last night or.. kanina ata and saw you freezing so kinumutan kita and I didn't know how I ended up like that. Maybe, mom's right, malikot talaga 'ko matulog" I blabbered hoping to save myself. "By the way, dito ba tayo magbbreakfast?"

I averted the topic as I averted my gaze and suddenly caught my breath at the sight of the sunrise.

Sav and I watched the sunsets in the sofa a few times but watching the sunrise is a whole different feeling. Plus we're on the sea. It's like watching a door full of treats open in front of you.

"Pretty, right?" I heard Sav asked beside me.

I nodded.

We watched the sunrise, side by side, in silence. It's just like the two of us in the world and the waves.

"Are we leaving?" I asked breaking the silence. I am sad realizing that we're leaving later.

He chuckled beside me. "I almost dragged you here and now you're sad?"

Here we go again.

"We'll go back, I promise"

I am sad but somehow I felt warm on what he said. Umiikot ang orasan nang hindi natin namamalayan. And you'll never know, your present will eventually become a..

"Memory" I mumbled softly. This will be one of my treasured memory.

I was surprised how Saveo maneuvered the yacht. He was clumsy at first. I guffawed at how red his face was when we swerved. I want to shout that Saveo's still human after all.

"You're not done yet?" he scowled, but his distorted face looked like he's trying not to laugh kaya natawa na naman ako ng malakas. And ang pula ng tenga niya!
