Ben- Y/n! Hey wake up the Hackers are on their way!

Y/n is woke up by Ben tapping her shoulder. She sits up and yawns

Ben- You might want to fix your hair a bit

He laughs and points to it

Y/n- Fuck you it's not that bad

Y/n gets up to look in the mirror.

Y/n- Oh yeah maybe you're right

Y/n grabs her hair brush and starts brushing her hair. She could see Ben looking at her from the reflection of the mirror.

Y/n- Everything okay?

Ben shakes his head as if he was interrupted from his thoughts.

Ben- Yeah yeah sorry.

As she kept Brushing her hair Y/n heard her mom yell.

Mom- KIDS THE HACKERS ARE HERE.

Y/n-  i guess let's go

Ben follows behind Y/n walking out of her room toward the living room. They walk into the living room to see the Hacker family sitting on the couches.

Y/n- Hi everyone! Merry Christmas!

Everyone looks up at her and Maria gets up to hug her.

Maria- Hi sweetie! Ben!! How nice to see you!

Ben- You too!

Y/n made eye contact with Vinnie and he rolled his eyes at her.

He better not be mad Ben is here
we've barely spoken

Vinnie was talking to Y/n's Brother. Ben was talking to Y/n and Reggie. Maria and Nate were talking to Y/n's parents and her two sisters.

Brother- Hey come on Vinnie I need to show you something

Y/n watched as Vinnie got up and followed her brother to her room.

Ben leans into her ear.

Ben- Everything okay?

Y/n- Yeah I just need to go to the bathroom.

Y/n gets up and walks into the hallway going toward the bathroom. She gets there and the door is locked. As she's about to knock the door opens.

Y/n- Oh hi

Vinnie- Hi

Y/n- I just ne-

Vinnie- Why is he here?

Y/n was caught off guard by such question.

Y/n- Ben?

Vinnie- Well who else?

Y/n- Are you seriously mad about Ben right now? It's Christmas for gods sake.

Vinnie- Your brother told me he's been here practically all day.

My brother omg ugh he makes everything worse

Y/n- He came over and we exchanged gifts. I invited him to stay.

Vinnie- And you got him a gift? wow

Y/n- It's not like I didn't get you one.

Vinnie- You know how I feel about Ben and you do this behind my back

Y/n- Ben is your friend. And behind your back? Last I remember you're the one not responding to my texts. Who knows what you could be doing.

Vinnie- I'm over this.

Y/n- I'm over you.

Vinnie scoffs and gets out of the bathroom leaving Y/n alone. She closes the door and looks at herself in the mirror. She sees tears coming to her eyes.

No. Not right now it's Christmas.

Mom-Y/N DINNER IS READY!

She heard her mom yell.

Hey eyes were red and she tried her best to hide it. She takes a deep breath leaving the bathroom and heading toward the kitchen. She's sees everyone sat down and an empty space between Reggie and Ben. It was directly across Vinnie and her brother. She keeps her head down as she sits.

Ben- I know you're not okay. Just tell me about it later.

Ben whispers and she nods her head. As she looks up Vinnie is staring at them. They began eating dinner and Y/n had not said a word.

Maria- Y/n, it's a shame you couldn't come with us camping last weekend it was so fun! Vinnie said you were busy.

What is she talking about?
He didn't tell me?

As she looks at Maria confused she looks at Vinnie who is looking at his mom upset.

Y/n- I'm sorry what camping trip? Vinnie didn't tell me anything.

Maria- Vinnie told us he asked you to come.

Y/n- oh um he didn't.

Maria looks at Vinnie. The tension was starting to rise.

Maria-Vinnie?

Vinnie looks down at his hands in his lap.

Vinnie- Didn't think she would want to come that's all.

He looks directly at Y/n.

Y/n- If you would've asked I would've gone.

Vinnie- Well since you've been spending all your time with Mr. Pretty Boy over here I would beg to differ

Y/n scoffs

Y/n- Says the one who doesn't answer my texts.

Vinnie- Says the one who's been acting like a whore recently.

Is that really what he thinks of me?

Maria- Vinnie ENOUGH

Vinnie is shocked by the words that had come out of his mouth.

Y/n gets up from her seat.

Y/n- Excuse me.

She goes straight into her room and closes the door.

Tears start streaming down her face. She is left alone in her thoughts.

Should I have given him another chance?

There's a knock at her door.

"Can I come in?"

Y/n- Yes

Reggie- Hey

Y/n- Hi

Reggie walks towards Y/n's bed and is standing hold his arms out.

Reggie- Come here

Y/n gets up and hugs him. They stay hugging in silence until he speaks.

Reggie- I'm sorry about him. I don't know what's been up with him lately. All I know is that he didn't mean it. Mom got after him right now. It was pretty funny but he deserves it.

Y/n sighs

Y/n- What did I do wrong?

Reggie- You did nothing wrong. Okay. You're everything and more than Vinnie deserves. You're too good for him.

They let go of the hug and sit on her bed.

Reggie- I think there's something you should know...

Y/n- What is it?

Reggie- Vin-
