"Sam" I yelled down the hallway to my best friend's house. 

"Just a second Tray" Sam yelled

"What took you so long?" I asked as he came down the set of steps

"My brother came home last night, so we talked all night." He said

"I've never met your brother" I said

"I know, they split way before I met you. Wes, was only a toddler, he's only like a year younger than us. But, he lived with Mom. Mom apparently doesn't want him to stay there anymore, she got remarried and has other kids and she called him a bad influence on her kids, like he isn't one of her kids" Sam said rolling his eyes

"Bad influence?" I asked

"He told my mom that he was not exactly straight and she flipped, saying that she was not going to allow that in her house, or around her children. She has four with her husband. Two boys and two girls. I've only been over there at like their birthdays and holiday's. There 15, 10, 5, and 3." Sam said

"Wow, that's an age gap." I said

"Yeah, well i'm 18 and Wes is 17. So she has kids ranging from 18 to 3. But I doubt she tells people about me. Or Wes now" Sam said

"I'm sorry man," I said

"It's whatever, Dad is much more laid back, he practically called her flipping his lid when Wes told him about her kicking him out because he's not straight." Sam said

"She sounds horrible." I said 

"Well, it's okay, cuz now my baby brother is back!" Sam said

"Hey, Sam, where does- oh um hi" I heard a voice from behind us and looked up.

Damn, was he hot or what. He wore a pair of basketball shorts, and looked as if he had just gotten out of the shower. 

"What do you need Wes?" Sam asked breaking Wes' eye contact with me

"Oh, um I was asking where Dad has the password for the WiFi written down. I was gonna set up my X-box that Mom never let me take home." He said

"Oh, in his office. I'll show you," Sam said walking into the room beside the stairs

Wes followed after a moment. Damn my heart needs to calm the fuck down. "Thanks Sam" Wes said with a new piece of paper. 

"Where are y'all going?" Wes asked 

"We were just gonna go catch a movie or go to the arcade." I said

"Oh, nice." Wes said and smiled. I swear I almost had a heart attack and died.

"You can put on a shirt and come with us, if you want. Unless you just wanna stay at home alone." I said

"I don't wanna intrude on your day." Wes said biting his lip

"Nonsense, I want my brother and my best friend to get along, you have a lot in common actually. Plus, Tray invited you, now get a shirt and come back down. We leave in 5." Sam said

"Okay," He said walking back up the stairs and I let out a deep breath that I didn't realize that I was holding. 

"You have a thing for my brother don't you?" Sam asked

"What? I just met the guy. You know i'm not like that. He's attractive yes, but that doesn't mean I wanna jump into dating the guy." I said

"Jump into dating who?" Wes said walking back into the living room with a t-shirt on.

"Nothing, you know your brother can be annoying sometimes" I said and Wes chuckled

"You can say that again. Half the time all I hear is sports this and that. Oh but this video game this and that. " Wes said
