1945...

Azrael was waiting for Raguel to arrive shortly after Lucifer locked the rouge exterminators up again in the underground compound.

He didn't turn around to greet them. Only acknowledging them with a slight movement of the scythe when he heard Raguel complaining about being babied by Michael and Gabriel.

"Oh would you two stop already? I was only hit in the head by a shield! Raphael said I'm not brain damaged. I can still fly and walk to the portal on my own without your support!"

Uriel suddenly landed next to them. "You were unconscious for the duration of the incident down in Hell little brother. We're not taking any chances of you going down there in your current condition after Azrael debriefs us on what happened. So stop complaining."

"Complaining that I'm perfectly fine!" Raguel blinked at Uriel. "Uhhh remind me why you're here again?"

Uriel held his head in his hand and Michael and Gabriel sighed. "You have a concussion Raguel. I'm here to make sure you don't do anything foolish."

"Why would I do anything foolish?"

The air around the portal suddenly turned deathly cold. They all turned to look at the portal. Azrael was standing by the portal with his back to them. He suddenly dropped his scythe but it never hit the ground. His hands and fingers started twitching.

Ice was starting to coat over Azrael's body. Uriel spoke up as their breaths became visible over the cold.

"Azrael?"

As soon as his name was spoken Azrael grabbed at his chest and collapsed screaming bloody murder and riving in agony.

He was plagued by horrible convulsions and then his body locked up into the fetal position in a shaking wide eyed trance.

"Azrael! What happened?"

Azrael continued to stare into nothingness. "They're gone..." Tears fell from his eyes as he wailed in anguish. "THEY'RE GONEEEEEE!"

"Gone...? Who? Azrael Who's Gone?"

Azrael turned his head and locked his left eye with his brother's. "Who?" He rolled over and gave a truly unhinged grin. "Hehehe...who he says? Whooooo? WHO ELSE?"

Gabriel stepped back as Azrael snarled.

"THEM—OUR SIBLINGS—THE ONES THAT FELL TO THE BLOODLUST IN 1349! THEY'RE GONE!"

Gabriel spoke up in fearful hesitation.

"G-gone?"

Azrael grinned as he did the exploding hand gestures. "POOF!" He waved. "BYE-BYE! SEE YOU—NEVER!" He stared up into the night sky and started chuckling with his right arm overtop of his eyes. "Haha-hahaha—haaaaa."

Michael spoke. "Oh Crabapples. He's finally gone and snapped on us. Uriel get Raphael quickly we need the blowgun and anesthetics!"

Two seconds and Azrael was now standing. He had the scythe keeping them there at blade point. "I'm Not Senile!"

He was panting heavily and stared at the ground for a solid minute before speaking.

"Xander, destroyed them...he let them out and they almost killed Charlie...he arrived at the underground compound and—hedestroyed them..."

Gabriel was in shock. Raguel was livid. He charged towards the portal only to be held back by Michael and Uriel. Michael shouted as they were struggling to keep Raguel restrained.
