Jimin stood on one side of the Arena, stealing glances at Y/N whilst she walked in with his Hyung. His mind was a whirl wind of emotions and confusion. On the one hand, he knew he had to put on a good show and pull some tricks out of his bag to keep his mask from slipping. On the other hand, the last thing he wanted to do was to hurt her. He pushed his hair back, a habit of his, whilst he thought of a plan and looked at the floor. He didn't only have Y/N to fool, but the 6 other members who knew him like the back of their hand and Jimin's acting wasn't up to par.

Yoongi had placed identical tables of equipment in the Arena as he did in the Training room and Jimin took what little time he had left to glance over the familiar objects before picking the ones he thought would benefit him most. After a few minutes, Jimin picked up a smoke bomb that Yoongi had pimped so it would now fill the whole room for up to 5 minutes, some throwing stars and knifes, a night vision gas mask and a few gas canisters. The mask would allow him to see through the fog and protect him from the gas. he hoped Y/N hadn't picked up the mask herself so that he could knock her out without getting too close and still uphold his act.

Looking up to the boys, Jimin could see they were also putting on night vision gas masks.

Crap.

They would be able to see every move Jimin used, and every hesitation. This was going to be harder than he had thought.

New Plan.

Jimin started to hope the fight would come down to hand-to-hand combat. That way he could put up a good fight with the guarantee of Y/N not getting hurt, thanks to Yoongi's suits, and overpower her so she would have to concede. It was a good plan, or so Jimin thought.

He stood one side of the room, Y/N on the other. Jimin had put on the cool metal mask in preperation so Y/N couldn't see his expression but he could see hers. Jimin was thankful for this as his eyes were taking in every detail of her body in that suit, every line and every curve, and he didn't have to hide it. To Jimin, she were the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. He studied her face from across the room like it was the last time he would ever see it. His deep brown eyes lingered on her plump lips before he moved to focus on Y/N's eyes. He spotted the anxious glimmer they wore that she tried so hard to hide with a thick wall of determination and grit, but he could see through it and his heart melted just a little bit more.

Jimin's focus had been broken with Yoongi's voice, "All's fair in love and war. Just don't kill each other." He hadn't heard anything else that was said, his focus was completely on Y/N. The lights dimmed and the show had begun.

Immediately Jimin threw his smoke bomb. He didn't want to give Y/N any chance to get the upper hand, that would make his plan 100x harder than he wanted it to be. His first move was met by a few displeased grunts from the balcony. The boys saw this as an unfair advantage, he could see Y/N but Y/N couldn't see him. But what he saw only confused him more. Y/N was not fazed by the lack of sight, but instead was staring directly at Jimin, focusing on him even. Jimin quickly took off his goggles to see if the smoke bomb had even activated, and it had, without the mask Jimin could see nothing but smoke. So what was Y/N doing?

Before he knew it, Jimin's mask was snatched out of his hand by some kind of magnetic string through the fog.

What the-

"Aishhh"

Jimin had put his hand out to try and grab the mask before it was snatched into the fog but the cool metal gave him a slight electric shock, one that would have been a lot more lethal if not for Yoongi's suits. He shook it off and squinted into the fog, but it was to no avail. It was too dense and Jimin could only see the distorting grey blanket which consumed the room. Assuming Y/N could now see him, Jimin was running out of options quickly.
