Jason
They were at a gay bar.
It was 8 pm and they were at a gay bar.
It was 8 pm and they were at a gay bar in New York City.
The first thing that came to Jason's mind was just how big it was. The only gay bar back home was like an actual straight bar that nobody went to.
Thankfully, all four of them had brought their fake Id's and they were able to pass as 21-year-olds. Jason was sitting on one of the bar stools, ordering a drink as he watched Charlie pull Harley into the crowd.
It had been Charlie's idea to do something fun to get out of their heads and Andrew had agreed. But he had also told them not to do anything illegal.
Well. Too late.
Jason wasn't much for dancing, especially if it meant dancing in the middle of a crowd of people. He was okay with just sitting and watching.
Going to the funeral had been hard for him. But he wanted to be there for Charlie so he sucked it up and made it through.
"Yo, McLane", Jason called out, when he saw him lurking around the bar. Liam turned to him, an eyebrow raised, "What's up?"
As far as he knew, Liam McLane was a good guy, he got good grades and he was one of the best football players on the team. But Jason did wonder if he was good enough for Harley.
Harley was like a brother to him and he loved him, he wasn't ashamed to admit that. If Harley chose Liam, then Liam must be a good man, right?
"How long have you been with Harley?"
Liam looked at him strangely, "Eight months, give or take"
Damn, that was a long time to hide their relationship from Charlie, no wonder he was pissed.
"You treat him well?"
Liam's eyes softened as he nodded slowly, "I love him, Jason"
Jason smiled, "Good", he looked at where Harley was standing, "He deserves to be treated well"
"You fallin' for my man, Pierce?", Liam's voice was teasing.
Jason laughed, pressing his shot glass against the table, "Wrong twin, buddy"
Liam nodded at him, a light smile on his face as he thumped Jason on the back and moved away from him, leaving him alone.
Jason zoned out for a second, thinking about how good it had felt to admit to Liam that Charlie was his. He wished he could tell it every one.
Liam had joined twins at the dance floor, all three of them forming a circle. Charlie often turned to Jason with a grin as if he expected him to join in on the fun too.
