Bucky picked up his water bottle and clenched his eyes shut. Every single time...her lips, her smooth skin...GOD those eyes.

Bucky gave a scream and threw his dagger against the wall. He took a deep breath and started gathering everything around him in the training room.

"What did the wall ever do to you?" A voice asked.
Bucky made a face and Sam smiling at him. Sam. Sam Wilson. The man who he was best friends with, but would never admit to the fact. Sam, who was so worthy of taking over the Shield. Steve knew what he was doing when he chose Sam. The new Captain America.

"Just...thinking..." Bucky started.
Sam couldn't help but smile.
"Oh, you're thinking of that girl..." Sam couldn't help but laugh.
Bucky made a face and glared at Sam.
"I hate that I had ever I mentioned her to you..." Bucky said. "Look, it's...it's nothing..."
He couldn't help but hide a small smile as he drank from his water bottle.

He still couldn't shake the feeling...from the moment their eyes met...he WANTED her. She was absolutely gorgeous, but...he knew she was strong. There was a feeling. There was something about her that he knew he needed.

Katie placed the last box in her car and she took a deep breath.

"We have been roommates since medical school." Sarah said. "What the hell am I gonna do without you?"
Katie gave a laugh and drew her into a hug, while trying to hide her tears.
"You are going to enjoy having a single apartment." Katie said.

They both gave a laugh as they broke apart and Katie took her hand.
"Just don't forget...there's always Facetime." Katie said.

Sarah gave a laugh and nodded her head. Katie nodded and finally got in the driver's seat. She took a deep breath and put on her favorite driving playlist and tried to calm herself down. She could help sing along to Brad Paisley as she smiled. Before Katie knew it, she was was in Upstate New York and in front of a BEAUTIFUL state of the art compound.
"Woah..." Katie whispered.

Katie slowly left her car and made a face. She straightened her blouse and gave a nod. Without even thinking, she made sure to check her makeup. It wasn't anything special, she just wanted to make sure her eyeliner and true red lipstick were perfect. Katie nodded her head and walked over to the door, but...before she could even knock...the one and only Tony Stark opened the door.
"You must be the Doc?" Tony asked.
Katie took a deep breath and forced a smile.
"I'm Katie." She said.
Katie held out her hand and Tony took it with a mischievous smile.
"Oh, this will be good." Tony said.

Katie made a face and nervously followed him inside the front entrance. She could already tell that this was going to be tough.

The Avengers Compound was something of...BEAUTY! Everything was advanced and she couldn't help but want try to every button. Katie was a decent hacker....but no one ever knew that about her. So many ideas were going through her mind as she walked through the halls.

"We'll deal with your bags later." Tony said.
Katie came out of her trance and took a deep breath.
"Huh?" Katie asked.
Tony gave a laugh and nodded his head. He offered his arm and Katie gave a laugh. She looped her arm through his and Tony brought her to the kitchen. She couldn't help but feel overwhelmed as she met...WAY too many people to remember for her first time.

"Don't worry." Tony said. "You'll be fine after the party tonight."
"Party?" Katie asked.
"In your honor of course." Tony said. "To welcome you here."
Katie tried to hide her smile as she remembered why she was at the compound to begin with.
"Maybe I should meet with Sergeant Barnes first." Katie said.
Katie glanced at Tony and couldn't help that he was trying to hide a sad smile.
"He'll be the party." Tony said.

Before Katie could say anything. Tony opened the door to the bedroom. Katie was never one to be speechless but, DAMN!  This room was gorgeous!
"Your quarters..." Tony said.
All of Katie's suitcases were already waiting for her to unpack as the floor to ceiling windows held the most beautiful lake view she had ever seen. For once, the cold...it felt beautiful.

"Like it?" Tony asked.
"This is..." Katie started. "Wow...."
She heard Tony give a laugh as she looked at the view.
"I'm glad." Tony said. "Because...I've done some homework on you...."

Katie couldn't help but let her heart sink in her chest.
