Bucky clung to the bar like his life depended on it. He hated social interactions. But....Steve had asked him to come down from his room so.........here he was.
"Hey. Buck."
Bucky looked at Steve as took a sip from his beer. Steve leaned against the bar and made a face.
"You okay?" Steve asked.
He took a long gulp of his beer and made a face.
"Buck?" Steve asked.

"You guys see the new Doc?" A voice asked.

Steve's jaw clenched as he forced a smile as Sam walked over. Bucky gulped down his bottle and grabbed another, and Sam just made a face.
"I mean..." Sam said. "Hot DAMN! She is....."
"Sam........" Steve started.
Steve gave a chuckle, but he couldn't help but hear a short laugh, followed by a quick cough from Bucky. Steve furrowed his brows and looked at him.
"You okay?" Steve asked.

Bucky gave a nod, but Steve made a face. He was trying to stay more focused and more composed. Steve couldn't help but laugh.

"Okay...what?" Steve asked.
Bucky took another sip of his beer and smiled.
"What?" Bucky asked.
Steve narrowed his eyes and gave a laugh.
"Whoever this girl is..." Steve started.
"Shut it." Buck said.

His tone was stern enough to stop any conversation in one second flat.

The dress was perfect. It was the perfect red with a corset lace top, falling just below her shoulders...and a short length just above her knees. She pulled her old, yet oh so defined black stilettos to accompany her dress. She called them her 'lucky shoes" because she had broken them in since...well...since before she could remember! She took a picture for Sarah as she put the finishing touches on her makeup and hair.

"Eat your heart out...." Katie said, as she blushed at herself in embarrassment.

Katie bit her bottom lip and finally gathered enough courage to walk out in the main room.  Before she could even gather a breath, she felt an arm grab hers and entangle it with his.

"What do you think?" Tony asked.
"It's certainly a welcome party..." Katie said.
Tony smiled and brought her to the bar. Standing at the very back, she couldn't help but notice a very handsome and stoic man. Without even studying him, hell..without even staring at him she could tell there was a strong history of pain. She narrowed her eyes but tried not to be obvious of her attraction. Her eyes were pulled away as Tony pulled her to a stage as all eyes were now on him in the spotlight.

"Alright!" Tony said. "We all having a great night?"
Everyone clapped as Tony made his way over to Katie's side and he gave a laugh.
'I want to introduce our new member..." Tony said.
Katie made a face and turned to glare at him

Member?

"This is gonna be fun!" Tony yelled.

Everyone started cheering and Katie just gave a sheepish smile. She couldn't help but notice that the balcony was within arms reach. She needed some fresh air...

Bucky was standing on the balcony outside of the party as the full moon rose in the sky.

"Isn't that beautiful?" Katie asked.

Bucky's muscular back tensed at the sound of her beautiful voice. He took another sip of his beer and just stood there. She walked up next to him and he couldn't help but hear a hum come from her throat as she looked at the full moon. He glanced over and saw the most beautiful red lips curved into a small smile as she looked over at the lake.

"It's beautiful." She said.

Bucky couldn't only nod his head, as she leaned her stomach and chest against the wall. All she wanted was to feel some friction...even just his back, all she wanted to do was just place her hand on his back...she was hoping he reciprocate...

"So...Sergeant..." Katie started.
"My name is Bucky." He said.
Katie took a step back and gave a short nod.
"Okay, Bucky." She said. "Hi..."

Before she could say anything more, he walked off and stormed out of the room. She wasn't even trying to use a any "moves" or whatever you want to call them to try to get him to talk to you.....

She just genuinely wanted to know him.

Bucky gave a groan and slammed his door shut. He knew that she wasn't doing anything to hurt him. GOD! He didn't want to hurt her!

"Fuck it..." He said.

He needed to feel her. He need to taste her...GOD! HE JUST NEEDED HER.

"He's your patient." She told herself.

She looked at herself and took a deep breath.

"He is your patient and ... "

Katie ran her hands though her hair and took a deep breath. She looked in the mirror and shook her head. She threw on her silk slip and crawled in her covers, but made a face when there was a knock on her door. She took a deep breath and tentatively made her way over. She could almost feel his presence. The moment you opened the door, his lips were on yours.

"Buck..." She whispered.

It was like magic. Every touch, every breath! GOD...it was all like fire...and then the dream ended. She took a deep breath and looked around the unfamiliar room and finally remembered why she she at the compound.

"JUST YOUR PATIENT!" She had to basically scream at herself.

Bucky looked at her door and took a deep breath. All he wanted to do was knock and take her, right then and there. She looked incredible tonight. She was just as beautiful as when he first saw her at the hospital. He wanted her, NEEDED her...but in the end, he knew she would just run. He let out a defeated breath and just walked away. He knew she deserved better...
