Care and I rushed to reception.

"Liz, Liz Forbes. Where is she?" Care said

"What room?" I said

"Room 202 just down the hall" The man said

Care and I made our way down the hall and we found her room. We walked in.

"My girls" She smiled weakly at us

"Mum?" We said with teary eyes

Care went and sat one side of her bed and I sat the other. We held her hands. Rebekah and the boys gave us some space but waited outside.

"Caroline fed me her blood last night" Mum said

"Care what the fuck were you thinking?" I said

"Maybe it could heal her" She said

"I don't want mum to die" She said

"And you think I do?" I said

"We have no idea of the effects of our blood on her" I said angrily

"That's why we tried it on someone else first" Caroline said

"And what happened to them?" I said

"The magic sped up the cancer and killed them" She said

"What have you done?" I said

"Hey, hey its not her fault. She was trying to help" Mum said

"But this is going to kill you quicker" I said crying

She wiped my tears.

"Hey, hey none of those" She said and wiped my tears

"That's why Damon suggested we suck the magic out of her" Care said

"Fine, lets try it" I said wiping my tears

"I will go get him" I said

I walked outside and saw all my mates and Rebekah.

"Did you hear everything?" I said

They nodded. I sighed heavily.

"Then Kai you know why we need you. Please come and suck all the magic out of mum" I said

"Are you sure baby?" He said

"I am sure" I said

He held my hand and then walked us back in the room. He kissed my hand and looked at mum.

"Hey Liz" He said

"Hey Kai" She said and smiled

He put her hand on her cheek and arm and started siphoning out of her. Mum's heart started speeding up and Care and I looked at each other worried. Mum didn't look in pain but did not look amazing. We waited for Kai to finish. He finally did.

"Thank you" I said

"Any time" He said and smiled

"Hey mum how are you feeling?" I said

"Okay I think" She said

"That's good" Care said as we both held her hands 

Then she held her throat and started chocking and her heart rate sped up tremendously. Her breathing was picking up.

"What's happening?" Care said

"I think she's having a heart attack" I said

Jo, Kai's sister came rushing in. She tried helping mum.
