SHIVANGI'S POV:

"Mohsinnn!" I called from the back of the bus when he entered.

He waved back, he came and sat next to me. I am Shivangi and he is my bestfriend 'Khan, Mohsin Khan!' Like he would introduce himself to anyone. Lol.

My family and I shifted to Bombay when my little sister Sheetal was born. We became neighbours since we lived in the same area. We were 5 year olds then. We went to the same tuitions, same school and shared everything, we can't do anything without eachother. Yes, he is a bit introvert and shy but when he is with me he acts like a creep! But he's the best.

Our families are like one big family. Our moms are besties our dads are besties but our siblings are enemies, like Mohsin's sister, Zeba and my sister Sheetal are bestfriends although our brothers, Sajjad and Samarth, they don't like eachother. And Mohsin and me toh are besties forever!

We are in our 1st year. And we are going on an excursion to Coorg. The Scotland of India! 💚

Just like all the trips we were sitting together. It was supposed to feel same like any other trip we have had, but unfortunately it felt 'very' different.

All the students at the back were whistling and laughing, I don't know for what...but I think Mohsin knew. He took my hand in his and continued looking infront with an expressionless face, only I could see his jawline stretch. Saniya, an annoying bitch, brought me out of my trance.

"Look at these lovebirds! So cute naa?"

She started talking all shit in her stupid brain.
Oh god so this is the problem!
Ugh..Why do we have to age? These people who were gossiping in the bus were not from our section.
The guys in our section have already had Mohsin's punches and kicks for talking crap about me. Actually I only spoke to this lad and thus, they were jealous.
Ab inn logon ka dimaag thikaane laana padega!

I took his arm and put it around mine.
He looked at me with wide eyes and let out a proud smirk.

"Jo seekha hai aap hi se seekha hai guruji.." I whispered and gave him a look.

He kept smiling and looked forward.
Their voices died in our ears finally.

We reached the station, we had seperate compartments for girls and boys. The male teacher was with the boys and the female one with us.

I was kind of sad as my bestfriend wasn't around me but luckily I found Tanvi. She's also a nice friend of mine.

It was night and I wanted to use the washroom. I tried waking her up lekin yeh toh ghode bech ke so rahi hai.

I reluctantly wore my slippers and went to the washroom. I went in.

Holy shit! There's no latch here! What to do now? I pushed the door to show that I'm using it.

Suddenly the train jerked and my hand came off!

My heart was in my throat when someone closed the door from outside. Haash! Bach gaye! Par kaun hai yeh? I hope koi masti na kar raha ho...

"K-kaun hai?" I asked.

"Mohsin." His voice came. I thanked the lord hundred times.

I came out. He seemed angry. We were standing near the door of our compartments' merging point. The cool breeze hitting our faces.

"Aise kya dekh rahe ho?"

He rubbed his forehead.

"Dimaag ghar pe chodd ke aayi hai kya? Pagal hai? Check nahi kar sakti thi?! You're not at home Shivi...Main nahi aata toh kuch bhi ho sakta tha! Aur raat ko aise akele aane ki kya zaroorat thi? Main dusre compartment mein hu, dusri duniya mein nahi...mujhe utha diya hota...par nahi! Aapko toh bahaaduri sahit (with) bewakoofi dikhaane ka shaukh hai! Hai naa?" He was scolding me now.

"Arey yaar sorry naa...mujhe thodi pata tha ki latch hi nahi hoga..tum gussa kyun ho rahe ho..agli baar se dhyaan rakhungi..."
I was feeling guilty so I apologized but he was really disappointed in me. He held my shoulders firmly.

"Uncle aunty ne tujhe yaha mere bharose bheja hai aur main apni taraf se poori koshish karunga ki tujhe akela na choddu lekin aisi situations mein hum kya karenge jab humein alag groups mein baat diya jaaega? You have to be careful Shivi. Please!" He calmly made me understand.

"Tujhe pata hai na how important you are to me...Mon chéri ( my darling )" He smiled.

I smiled back at him.
"Poori duniya mein sirf tumhe French nahi aati.." I giggled.

"Haan toh maine aise kab kaha ki sirf mujhe aati hai?" He asked her looking at me intently.

"Pehle hi log itni baatein banate hai aur yeh jo tum mujhe darling darling kehke bulaate ho, agar kisi ne sunn liya toh..."
My words trailed off when he pulled me closer to him. He tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear.

"Toh? Tujhe nahi lagta tu iss baarein mein kuch zyada hi sochti hai? Ya shayad mere baarein mein..." He gave a smug smile. My face reddened at the thought.

"Chup! Kuch bhi matlab?" I tried not to smile but I was failing miserably. I struggled to come out of his hold.

"Hey look who's blushing!" He teased.

I pushed him finally and ran to my seat and hid my face in the pillow, my mind was buzzing with what just happened.

I know his flirty nature very well but this was something else. Not sure what exactly. He's not a person who gels quickly with girls. He is always uncomfortable around them, but it is a different story with me. Mohsin doesn't only flirt with me, but he shares all his deep thoughts with me too and the way he looks at me when I speak, man! I can drown in those eyes....but he is my friend. I shouldn't think this way. I may hurt myself. I need sleep.

It's so beautiful! I can't take off my eyes from this place.

We are at the Raja's Seat and have been given thirty minutes to go around and observe. As it is a learning excursion, we are supposed to make reports at the end of this trip about our experience in Coorg.

There were no groups for this so I was looking for Mohsin.

And there he is!
What the hell?! He's eating icecream without me!
