Chapter 13

Getting hit by car felt weird. I didn't expect it.
Once the car hit my body, it stopped.
Luke and Calum ran to where I was.
All I heard was screams and sobbs.

I woke up in a hospital room.
Luke was the only one in the room at first.
"Kennedy!" He said
I just stayed quite. Luke then told me what I missed.
I broke both my legs and one arm.
I almost didn't make it but I did.
"I am so sorry Kennedy." He said.
I just looked at him.
I was feeling really weak and didn't want to speak.
Calum came in two minutes later.
"Hey." He said .
Calum was really excited to see me up.
"Don't ever almost die on my again." he told me.
I just smiled and let out an ok.
Luke left the room and Calum stayed to tell me about how the past 2 weeks have been going.
I was out that long.

I ended up falling back to sleep.
Calum stayed the night in the hospital room with me.
I woke up to him talking to Luke outside the room.
Luke had flowers with him. After a couple minutes Ashton and Mikey where here. I haven't see them in a while. They both had get well balloons and teddy bears.
"Hi Kenny. How you feeling?" They both asked.
I smiled and said "Fine."
Fine wasn't really how I was feeling though. I got hit by a car. It takes time to Recover. Months. Years.
I had bandages all over my head.
And cuts and bruises all over my body.
So I wasn't feeling "Fine."
"Good." Ashton said.
"So how is school?" I asked.
"Ugh. But people are putting get well cards into your locker. They slide them in throw the bottom." Michael said.
I smiled.
Michael and Ashton went on about their lives. Which I had no problem with. If I am being honest, I hate it when people ask me if I am ok. I like hearing about the other person more than talking about myself.
And I sure didn't feel like talking about my self now.

The day past by and everyone left except Calum.
I was getting tired again so I rested my eyes.
As I was dosing off, Ski came in. With a huge balloon that said get well and a teddy bear.
"Hi." She said.
I didn't say anything. I didn't want to say anything. At least to her.
"I know you are mad at me. But I am sorry. I shouldn't have done it but I like Luke. He is a good guy. He makes me happy." She went on.
I wanted to slap her. She has the nerve to come here just to tell me how much she "likes" Luke.
"Ski. SHUT UP. I don't want to hear how much you like Luke. Honestly, I don't want you in my life. Luke is a good guy, I agree but he wouldn't date back stabbers like you. So can you leave?" I asked.
Ski left the room and Luke was standing by the door the whole time.
He was laughing.
"You so get me." He laughed
I just smiled.
"Kennedy. You know I like you right. No one else. Ski was just a stupid mistake. Can you please just talk to me?" He asked.
"I think you should move on Luke." I finally said.
Luke just nodded.
"So.... How is life?" I asked him.
He smiled.
" Crappy."
