There has been a direct correlation between me doing all caps in my titles to votes/views within 48 hours of me posting

Or maybe it just has to do with what time I'm posting these things at

Idk but to the many many ppl that have waited for a Aelin and Fen reunion plz don't be mad

 Nia

Wyverns, Nia decided, were scary as fuck.

Apparently, Lysandra and Aedion had portaled from Terrasen to Adarlan, and then had taken Wyverns from Adarlan to the Southern Continent.

Why, Nia had asked, didn't they just teleport to the Southern Continent. Because they had stopped at countries like Ellyway along the way to aid in Fenrys's search. Which was, fine, logic Nia supposed.

Didn't change the fact that Nia had to actually ride a razor toothed, winged, poisoned tail, flying beast.

Fenrys had grabbed her wrist and teleported them on to the Wyvern, Zayla, before Nia could even chicken out.

And Nia swore that Zayla could understand or at least scent Nia's fear of the thing and was doing  a Wyvern snicker the entire time.

Like wolf Fenrys was like a cute puppy. Even Lysandra in ghost leopard form was like a very big kitten. But Zayla was straight out of hell and Fenrys didn't help by purposely flying Zayla very low, or very high.

But Zayla didn't eaten Nia in one bite. Or impale Nia with that poisonous tail of hers. Or knock her out of the sky. Or crush her like a bug.

There was endless chuckling and teasing from Fenrys through out the journey.

By the end of the week of travel, over mountains, oceans and rivers, Nia had warmed up to Zayla. Mostly because she had too.

The sun was beginning to set and Nia finally saw her destination over the horizon.  They had flown over grass fields, oceans, rivers, towns and cities to finally get to Rifthold.

The capital city of Adarlan was protected by towering white walls. The river that ran through it opened up to the harbor to the east with war ships and traders coming in out.

The city wasn't an eye sore but compared to Doranelle and Antica it didn't beat them in terms of beauty.

Perhaps it would've stood a better shot if the glass palace still stood.

Fenrys had said that building a palace out of glass was the stupidest idea of all time.

Because glass shatters. And no wonder the glass palace shattered.

But in it's palace was a massive light stoned palace the highlighted the city. It some how blended effortely into the building around it and didn't seem out of place. But it gave no question to who lived there.

A massive booming roar nearly had Nia falling off Zayla, and a massive shadow flew over head.

The smaller Wyvern circled them once and a woman with braided white hair atop flew right beside them. The Queen of Witches.

Fenrys was grinning.

Gold eyes shone as the witched shouted to them, "I was beginning to think you were dead."

"Miss me?" Fenrys shouted back with a smile that was purely lupine.

"Not in the slightest," the Witch Queen shouted back, her braid flapping in the wind. "But at least Dorian will stop crying about it in bed now."
