They tell nobody. Maybe crush finds out. But do they find out too late. If (OC) dies and (crush) was the one they loved, does that mean (crush) is technically the killer and will be executed? Will that mean if (OC) dies the two will be reunited in the afterlife after (crush) gets executed?
If it's not in a killing game (non despair au):
Maybe (OC)'s friends know and try to convince (OC) to confess to crush, but they refuse. Maybe (Crush) sees them in the middle of puking up petals. How would they react then?
Or maybe the role are reversed and it's (Crush) that has Hanahaki.
