One of your cliche fantasy worlds. All sorts of mythical species exist. Elves, fairies, demons, vampires etc.
Humans exist too. Regular ol' humans, wizards, knights, royalty, warriors.
Scenario 1
Our OC's and their crushes live in a village, however one of them finds a magical artefact. Soon people find out and raid the village. The group are forced to flee and now live on the run, having to camp out and almost always be on the move to keep themselves safe. (Also our OC's don't need to be human in this, they can be vampires, elves, demons etc. Maybe magic users, or they could just be regular humans. They can all be different.)
Scenario 2
Our OC's were both taken in by the royal family as children and have been raised like siblings as members of the royal family. What happens when they find themselves falling for two "commoners" they meet one day while visiting a nearby village?
