12: enjoying the view

Yin walked around and arrived at the place where he could watch both the beach and sunset. He sat down and took a heavy sigh. 

"What's with the big sigh? "

A voice came beside him. 

Yin couldn't hide the excitement in his eyes. 

"Are you that happy to see me? " 

War giggled

"Yes…I mean no. YES. I- "

War laughed. 

Music to Yin's ears, he let out soft dreamy sighs. 

"What are you doing here? " War asked

"Oh I'm just enjoying the view" 

War nodded and sat down beside him. 

"What about you? " Yin asked

"Oh I'm just enjoying the view"

Yin stared at him for a second and they both burst into laughter. 

"But I think I like this view more"

Yin said, watching War's ears turn red. 

War peeked up from his eyelashes but Yin was staring at him so he averted his eyes towards the sea. 

"War.. "

"Hnm? " 

War turned to face Yin when he didn't continue to say anything. 

"It's nothing" 

"Come on say it"

"Well, uhm.. "

"Yes..? " 

" There's going to be a school event next Friday and I'm going to be their photographer. They're little kids and all"

"Okay…? "

"So uhm, would you like to come with me? You know, i mean uh, forget it, it's okay, might be boring" 

"Sounds fun. I'm in"

"Okay.. Wait what?"

War laughed

"Seriously? "

"Yes Mr photographer. I'd love to go with you. Which school is it? And what time"

"Uh I actually don't know, omg I'm so stupid!"

"It's okay, you at least know the address right?"

War chuckle

"Yes. I'll pick you up" 

"Okay" 

"So uhm, Can I get your number?"

"Yeah sure"

They exchanged their phone numbers and sat together quietly as they watched the sunset. 

War's phone rang, breaking their silence. 

"Hello? " 

… 

"Yes I'm coming home now"

… 

"Okay.. Byee"

"Was that your boyfriend? " Yin asked

War just smiled. 

"Well, Yin, I'll get going now. See you later" He waved at him and then he's gone. 

Yin sat alone with mixed emotions. 

"As I thought, he really has a boyfriend.. "

He gave another big sigh, as he got up and went to the hotel he stayed in. 

He packed his things up and went to the address his sister sent him. 

That night,he stared at War's contact multiple times. He wanted to text him but he's afraid to stir problems. After all, he got a boyfriend and he won't like it if another person sends his boyfriend a good night message. 

Yin himself won't like it either.
