Hudson Donovan - 1:36 P.M. - Columbia Uni
I set my last box down, stepping into my new dorm room. "Move." My little brother says, pushing me from the door frame and stepping into my room.
"Imma need you ta try det shit again" I push him back out the room and he knocks into my mom. My eyebrows raise and I turn back around.
"Don't start you two. I'on have the patience or the energy to deal with y'all bullshit" she places her purse on my bunk and lays down.
"Well this has been great. Thanks" I nod, pointing to the door. "Girl, tuh. You finna miss us" Kincade, my little brother claims.
"I'll miss Moms, not you. Bum ass ni-" I start. "Aye! What I say" my mom interrupts, side eying me. "My bad" I shake my head.
"Kincade get inna car. Gimme a second witcho sista" my mom shoos him out of the room. We dab up and I give him a little hug before he leaves.
"If he violates your protective order..." she trails off when he leaves. "Mom, I'on want to talk about this please. You see I'm tryna start a new chapter in my life. I'on wanna worry bout him no mo" I deadpan.
"Alright baby. I'm just trying to make sure that you're safe. I love you" she pulls me into a tight hug and kisses my cheek before eventually leaving too.
Now I was alone. In a state I've never been in before. No family. No friends.

Sapphire Westlock - 1:49 P.M. - Des & Sapph's Apt.
"You excited?" Destiny smiles, walking into the elevator with our last boxes. "Yesss" I cheese, twirling my new keys around my finger and holding Nile's hand.
We were moving in together because I can't keep Nile in a dorm. I unlock the door to our first apartment and walk in, seeing the marble kitchen.
"This is niceee" I smile and set my box down, letting Nile run around in the apartment. "Jah's gonna be here in a minute to help us unpack" she crashes onto the floor and Nile sits on her stomach.
