Chapter 7 (Romeo and Juliet-Play Day)

Ross Pov
So today is the day of the play. Laura and I have been practicing non-stop the past four weeks. We have stayed after school and all too. Also our trip to Colorado got postponed to tonight because Riker wanted to see me act tonigt. Also Vanessa hadn't said yes or no. Laura is gonna ask her again before the play.
"30 minutes till show time" said some crew people walking around. Then again Mrs.Garcia screamed, "29 minutes. Everybody hurry hurry hurry!"

Well then since Laura and I don't come out until later on we had to stay backstage which was sort of boring.We did nothing.

Laura POV
Ross's trip got postponed till tonight an I haven't asked Vanessa again, so what I decided to do was pack a suitcase and put it in the back trunk without telling him. All I'm gonna say is that she let me go and we are going to take off.

Our part together was coming up.
"Hey Laur, good luck out there."
"You too."
We kissed and entered through the opposite sides of the stage. I looked out and saw Vanessa, Ross' parents, and Riker in the front row. My mom couldn't fly out tonight caused grandma for sick.

Ross Pov
I entered to Juliet's grave.
Mrs.Garcia skipped the Friar and Balthasar's conversation and the Friars with Juliet. She went straight to the dying scene.
"Arms take your last embrace! And lips O you the doors of breath deal with a righteous kiss..." (I wanted to laugh at this part when me and Laura kissed)
And then we both die.

After we went to bow and all that our families came back stage and congratulated us.
"Oh Laura you did so good." said Vanessa as I wanted to cough and be like what about me until she said "Oh Ross you did great to." She hugged both of us as I said "I thought you didn't like me."
She responded "I was only giving you a hard time because I wanted to see if you were able to deal with the annoying and over protective sister."
"Sure Vanessa, sure." said Riker as he did that manly hug with me.
"Ross you did really good and Laura you did better than Ross."
"Hey! In right here."
"I know you are Ross."
"Anyways thanks so much Riker. You too Vanessa."
I saw Ross' parents come up to us.
"Laura come meet my parents." We walked over to them. "Mom Dad this is Laura my girlfriend."
"It's so nice to finally meet you. Ross told us you were so pretty but not this pretty. You look gorgeous sweetie. Well I'm Stormie but you could call me Mama Storms."
"Well Laura you did really well up there. Well I'm Mark you could call me Mr.Lynch. Cause I don't got a good name like Stormie."
"thanks Mr.Lynch. Well Ross and I need to get going to the cast party wanna come with us."
"Oh that'd be great." said my mom.
"Okay we will see you guys there. It's in the gym."

Laura POV
I had told Ross that I wanted to go straight to Colorado, after the we finished the play so we did. He didn't even ask about me asking Vanessa or the party.
"Laura are you sure you don't want to go home and change into something more comfortable?"
I told him about the bag in the back and we were still in our costumes. "No until we get to the first rest stop."
"Alright. I'm so happy Vanessa let you go."
I stayed quiet for a while thinking 'should I tell him that she didn't let me go?' After a while of thinking I fell asleep.

A little or a lot still don't know we stopped at the rest stop. I felt Ross' hand tap my shoulder.
"Laura we are here."
"Where?" I wiped my eyes still tired. I realized that we were at the stop. "Oh okay. I'll go change."
"Do you want to shower? Cause there's some right over there."
"I took a shower before I came."
"Yeah but all that makeup."
"I have wipes to clean it off. You go change and we'll sleep for an hour or 2."
"Okay we only have about 200 miles left. 4 hours I could keep driving."
"No you rest you've been driving all night. What time is it?"
"uh 3 am."
Vanessa must have called already asking where I'm at.
"Has anyone called?"
"Yeah my mom and Vanessa but I didn't answer. It was like an hour ago. I was about to answer but there was a highway patrol next to me which stayed there until we hit no reception."
"Thanks mountains for existing."
"What?"
"Oh I said that to loud I was thinking out loud."
"Okay go change I'll be waiting for you."
"Okay."
I left and checked my phone 4 am. It's pretty dark you could only see a little peek of sunshine coming from the east. I entered the bathroom. Ew it smelled really bad. I changed fast and left.
I walked out the restroom and saw Ross siting in the back seats looking through his phones frustrated.
"Hey are you okay?"
"Yeah just I really need to call my mom, but I can't."
"Look it's okay We'll call them before we go up the mountains again."
"Aright, lets go sleep."
He had put the seats down from the back since we brought his mom's van. We slept in the back and it was better like that because we had more space to move around in.
"Ross...I."
I was about to tell him that she didn't let me go. "Nevermind." But I didn't.
I curled into his chest, feeling his warmth. He pulled me in closer me laying on his left arm, while his right went fell over my body. He ran his fingers through his hair and kissing my forehead. "I Love You" he said whispering softly, but still hearing that sexy man voice he has. "I Love You too and more than you could imagine; because without you I don't know where id be right now. I'm happy that you fell on me that first day we met."
He quietly chuckled, "And I'm happy that you were there to fall on."
I smiled uncontrollably. We kissed and said good morning because it wasn't night no more.

This chapter was a little harder to think about because of the play involved in it and I was busy so that's why it took longer to put up anyways things are going to get a bit intense next chapter.
